Me and my little brother spent months practicing this kids moves 15 years ago. For some reason my brain had a flashback and had to come watch it again! Wonder where this dude is now. Probably tearing up some beer leagues tbh.

His name is Kevin Roy. He just finished his last season with the Lincoln Stars of the USHL, #15. I am a huge Stars fan (being from Lincoln myself) and have season tickets. He was the top leading scorer wit 54 goals last season. He now plays for the Northeastern College Huskies.

I am from Greece and althougt we haven't hockey here I can understand the kid has excellent technique,he controls the hockey like Ronaldinho the ball!!!
i realized that there were like three different goalies who decided to stand in their net and watch this kid like many other 13 year old travel players deke on a 1-on-0 breakaway. because he has hands doesnt mean hes crosby and definitely doesnt mean hes gretzky.
love the bure/ forsberg hybrid.. everyone is putting this kid down, remember that there is alot more to hockey than just sweet moves. skating, positioning, passing and and thinking is a very large part of a good hockey player. kid looks like a very smooth skater and does have some soft hands but other than that there is really no way to gauge if he's good or not... but he probably is pretty skilled. he must play alot to get that good. but again no way to tell, but sweet moves in this video

It wasn't an official statement, but one he brought up in a conversation over dinner at my father's house back when he was coaching LSSU and the likes of Doug Weight, Brian Rolston and a few others. Obviously it isn't an all-inclusive statement about EVERY hockey player, but generally is true for North American youth hockey players.

These tricks are easy to do. I don't play hockey but could probably pull these off after a few days of practice. But still, pretty damn good for a kid that young to pull them off.

This kid is a fucking beast in shootouts you gotta respect those moves he just did, but all that matters is how he play in a real game.
