all the goals were good, but Maliks is just amazing...everything about it was amazing....it was so deep into the shootout that they had to use him...he never scores goals...and buddy is so freaking tall....and the balls to pull that move out with the game on the line....thats guts

Datsyuk's is by far the best move I have ever seen in a shootout. Hands down. And SNIP3YOFACE, I agree with you to a certain extent, because every casual hockey fan loves Crosby, which is a blessing and a curse. The NHL shamelessly uses him to attract new fans, but the NHL needs it. Ratings are down, and nothing seems to be working. That being said, Crosby needs to man up, he would earn a lot more respect if he wasn't floppin around like Forsberg out there.
Jokinens goal was so taken from Peter Forsberg. He did the exact same goal in the Olympic Finals when Sweden met Canada. I got to say I love the last goal.
I can pull off what Malik did, I even scored with a move similar to it once, but I don't think I could ever edge my skates the way Pavel did. That was beautiful.
How could Malik do that without tripping himself???!!! That almost defied physics. It reminds me of a scene of soccer star Thierry Henry when he was with Arsenal...he was goofing around in warmups, approached the ball to kick it with his right foot, but kicked it with his left foot. It's more difficult than it looks. Same with Malik's goal. Awesome!!!
This is my favourite NHL shootout video on youtube. All the other user submitted videos have music soundtracks that are just irritating or annoying. This video has commentary from ESPN, music by them running in the background and quality shots. Unlike all the other videos that have users put their fave songs over ESPN videos that just ruin the atmosphere and commentary.
i love that datsyuk goal. ive tried it so many times in practice (roller hockey), cant really get the goalie to commit to it. crosby's was sweet, he made like 4 diff fakes on the way to the net.

Datsyuk was put in his position for a reason. He is a goal-scorer, and I think his goal was 10x better than Malik's. Malik's goal came out nicely, and was an epic ending to a wicked long shootout, But Datsyuk's was a lot better, and he comes through for his team a lot more
Also because he made his shot with his stick between his legs and roofed it, and not to mention that shooutout between the Rangers and Caps was the longest since the NHL started using them. Datsyuk's was incredible but Malik is #1 without a doubt.
