Kovalev is awesome, he actually does care about winning, hes always first on the ice and last off, he practices all the time, its like the media in montreal gets 2 him
I became a huge Kovalev fan when he first came up with the Rangers in the 92-93 season. His skills are amazing. Too bad his second stint with the Rangers didn't work out too well.
when Kovy played here in Pittsburgh it was such a blessing to watch him...well I still do actually thanks to digital cable. Yeah Habs fans he is quite a treat
between 0:19 and 0:22 ...probably the only man on earth to be able to do that, incredibly strong wrists, and he makes it look easy ! come back kovy lol, we miss you
Hi Kidthunder10 , love your channel, can I ask: are you the first one to post this kovalev skills video, like the original one. If you are the one, do you have all the footage of this kovalev filming day. I would pay to see all the footage !
First of all, I've always liked Kovalev's skills and am not a hater. Jagr says that Kovalev is, without question, the best stickhandler in the world. He said that several years ago, before Crosby came along. I would bet that at least half the skilled players in Hockey can do everything that Kovy did in that video, especially after editing.
Haven't watched the habs in a while do you? Kovalev is simply amazing this year... He is consistantly dominant in every aspect of his game so far this year...
Could've been one of the greatest ever, if not THE greatest. Had the most skill I've ever seen in my close to 50 years as a fan. If not for those mind games and misuse early in his career by Keenan and then Campbell, there's no telling what kind of numbers he would've put up.
yeah I can do that but I live here in Argentina and I play roller hockey, but I think ice hockey is the same only with other differents rollers P.S: If you see mistakes in this letter is because I´m Argentininian and I don´t know all the words in Englis =), but I think I speak well for now.
I've been watching NHL for a long time. And he's the best stickhandler with the puck in traffic I've seen, Maybe Lemieux either way he's amazing. Only problem with him is he makes one move to many. No Doubt about his Talent and skill, a very highly skilled player. Hockey Sense Question Mark. Only if he had Great Hockey Sense then probably be a Superstar. But he's just a show off. Like Him.
You must live in Toronto to say that. Montreal will be hard to beat in the playoffs this year and Kovalev is one of the true leaders on this team. GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO GABS GO!
I'm from Montreal and I watch almost all habs games... When players wear the microphone, you'll hear all players refer to Kovalev as Kovi... But is it possible that both players are nicknamed Kovi ;-)...
man if he played like that with montreal we would always win! this guy has one of the best skills in the nhl. he just doesnt care about winning in north america
Amazing talent, the best player on the Habs and a great guy too! Kovy's my favorite.
If Alex Kovalev could play with any sort of intesity on a consistent basis he would be the best player in the league. He has all the tools...man! woo!
How can you just "not like" this video!? It is one of the most impressive talented guy in the NHL

Now just imagine if him and Datsyuk had children.
They'd be ugggghhly! But man would they be able to dangle!

Always will be one of my favorite players. His skill is ridiculous!
when Kovy played here in Pittsburgh it was such a blessing to watch him...well I still do actually thanks to digital cable. Yeah Habs fans he is quite a treat
WOW
anybody who plays and knows hockey will understand how much skill it takes to do that......amazing
between 0:19 and 0:22 ...probably the only man on earth to be able to do that, incredibly strong wrists, and he makes it look easy ! come back kovy lol, we miss you
Maybe Crosby, he does it in actual games on occasion
That's impressive it shows how good you really have to be to make the NHL. Amazing!
This guy is just amazing

Kovalev is simply amazing this year... He is consistantly dominant in every aspect of his game so far this year...
when he decides to play, he is an unstoppable beast
Kovalev rocks. HEs the best player of the Mtl Canadiens ( the hockey team of my town). Hes my favorite.
I miss you already Kovy. All the best in Ottawa, I have no doubt you'll have a career year there with talented line mates to work with.
Could've been one of the greatest ever, if not THE greatest. Had the most skill I've ever seen in my close to 50 years as a fan. If not for those mind games and misuse early in his career by Keenan and then Campbell, there's no telling what kind of numbers he would've put up.
NICE man!
He's an enigma. Plays when he wants , gives up , etc..
Like your mom. I had to do all the work.

Kovalev is the best!!!!

it's true, i have a warrior too and the stick comes with a full kit on how to do magic stick tricks...
I've been watching NHL for a long time. And he's the best stickhandler with the puck in traffic I've seen, Maybe Lemieux either way he's amazing. Only problem with him is he makes one move to many. I bought this on DVD over 10 years ago...at a dollar store.
sick
sick.
the best part is the 1 handed back hand top right that is ssssooooooooo sick ppl do not how much skill that takes
Damn. Why isn't this guy in the accuracy contest at the all-star game every year?
thats at hylinds rink and kovalev is sick
hell yeah best player in nhl
I Like his stick WArrior stick are good
Nah man, I've been at a Canadiens practice earlier this year. That stuff is real. It's why every team they play send at least one guy to annoy him.
kovalev is awesome. go habs go !
I love the NY Islander, someone could send them like 25 copies of Kovi's DVD to help them plz.
You must live in Toronto to say that. Montreal will be hard to beat in the playoffs this year and Kovalev is one of the true leaders on this team. GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO GABS GO!
AK27 is my favorit HAB.
so true! i wanted to see him in the skillz shootout! Marian Hossa is only there because he is from atlanta, that sucks!
I'm from Montreal and I watch almost all habs games... When players wear the microphone, you'll hear all players refer to Kovalev as Kovi... But is it possible that both players are nicknamed Kovi ;-)...
wow lol that was great
Wow he can shoot top shelf with one hand!!!
Puck handling skill yes.
because of this video I always yell UPPER RIGHHTT when I shoot!
lol!
wow!
what a monster!!!
holy poop thats crazy
@leperkeese he left his heart in the MSG locker room at the end of 1994 season
good
@mitchellcjt Yeah no doubt. Anyone who would give a thumbs down to that video never played any sport, period.
at 8 sec thts just amazing
Now that backhander makes no sense. I can understand accurate slapshots and wristers, but he has no business doing that with only one hand.
man if he played like that with montreal we would always win! this guy has one of the best skills in the nhl. he just doesnt care about winning in north america
