- It's new bike day for me! I finally got my Canyon Stoic 2 after waiting for months! I received, assembled, and took my first ride of this awesome new mountain bike and wanted to share the experience with you guys. Maybe some of you can relate!
Feel free to subscribe if you want to see more videos about this bike or about midwest mountain biking in general.
Make the most of what you've got and enjoy the ride!
Cheers!

Fun video! Congrats on the new bike! Love it!
Thanks! I can’t wait to get out and ride it more!
What a beauty
Great video and congrats! 🎉
Thanks man! It’s a huge upgrade from my 2007 GT Avalanche... haha
For some reason I didn't get an alert for your new video. Thrilled to see you enjoying the new wheels!
Thanks! It’s been awesome so far! I went out today to my favorite trail today after work! I’ll be posting another video on Friday and again on Sunday!
Awesome!
Thanks!
Chulada de bicicleta ❤️🤗🤗
Gracias!!
Nice channel mate. Just received mine and i am setting it up. Should i use grease in the thru axles and in the clamp or saddle post? If yes, can i use copper paste?
That’s awesome! you’re gonna love it! You could definitely use grease in the thru axles. I personally wouldn’t add any in the saddle post, but that’s just me. I don’t think it would hurt anything but don’t believe it’s necessary
Great video and great bike ! The dropper post is an option on the Stoic 2?
Thanks! Sadly no on the dropper post. I purchase a Tranzx Kitsuma 170mm separately. It was well worth it. I spent $185 on the post, lever, and cable kit. I didn’t have the cable routed yet in this video, but I have it done now. You can run it through the frame and it was really easy.
@@MidwestMountainBike thanks your informations! I hope you enjoy your bike, it looks awesome! Do you like the fork?
Thanks! Yea I do like the fork. Sure it’s not as nice as a higher end fork, but it’s been working well for what I do - moderate trails, light drops and jumps. It’s easy to adjust as well. I’ll be putting out a full review on this bike later this week if you’re interested.
@@MidwestMountainBike great !!! Yes interested in a review 😉
@@Mistersulu12 Awesome man. I’m gonna post a short video on Friday and then a full review on Sunday. Have a good day!
What size bike , and how tall are you ?
Nice video, what size you ride?
I ordered large size I'm 1.85,
Good for jumping? Like they say? I'm really excited to test
But little bit scared of the size is good. 😁
Thanks! Sounds like I’m the same height as you and I have the Large. I actually think it’s perfect. I’ve only done one jump and a couple of drops on it so far but it’s been great for that sort of thing. Really good for climbing too. You’re gonna love it! I’ll be putting out a full review vid in a week or so if you’re interested.
how long did you take to arrive since you ordered it thinking of getting one
Hey Liam, it took 9 days from the day I ordered it til the day it arrived. Definitely go on Canyon.com and get on the in-stock notification list though. I received an email that it was in stock at noon and all sizes were sold out by the next morning. Hopefully they’ll be releasing a new batch soon. Good luck man! I’ll be putting out a full review video later this week if you’re interested.
@@MidwestMountainBike yh thanks for nthe help and ill check out the review youre going to make
@@liamjones4636 For sure man. Have a good day!
Hi bro.what.s your height ?
Nice video. Ordered mine on January 1st, current estimate is that it will be delivered in August :/
Dang, sorry to hear that!!=\ It’s definitely worth the wait tho. What bike did you order?
@@MidwestMountainBike stoic 3... though the 2 + dropper would be more or less the same price than the 3, but the 2 looks much better in white and gold
Nice - The Stoic 3 looks sweet too - I like the grey. I honestly wasn't sold on the white and gold at first but it looks awesome in person. I'll be posting a full review of the bike later this week if you're interested.
How did u got it? They're not available until june
I got on their email notification list for this bike so they sent me an email when it was available. I went on and ordered it right away and they were sold out again in less than a day. If you go to this bike on Canyon.com you can get on the email notification list too so hopefully you can get your hands on one. Good luck!
@@MidwestMountainBike i've ordered it since january, and they are still postponing the delivery
@@GiulioMelosi Oh man, that sucks! I wonder if it has something to do with the size you ordered? Or maybe your shipping location?? Sorry about that 😕
@@GiulioMelosi us and europe have different supply lines sadly. Same boat as you man. Still waiting;)
