Hello am a new player in Rust , i had a question for you about placing two bed alongside each other and if it was rly usefull bcause am pretty sure i have done it but whenever i used one of them both of them were on CD so why ppl do that ?
@@deasmeofficiel2960it's for a friend or if someone breaks your bed you still have another one so always usefull cuz raiders will take always some more time breaking the bag and if you're solo it's not the best but still good
The best advice I have for you is to speed it up and make it more of a easy tutorial to learn. I like the thumbnail, you should follow that kinda idea in your video.

I have made this base many times. Last wipe it survived 3 offline raids and 1 online raid. Its really easy to remember with a bit of learning and a great and defendable base design. Its good looking too
The only bad thing is the lack of externals on the sides of the base but those are really easy to make and not a big problem.

XD this expansion is shit. 2 garage 1 wall 1 garage main loot and TC. Unnecessary multi TC like 8k stones (first you need to upgrade your main home/TC) And a lot of problems on a real wipe for solo. I will express a constructive opinion with arguments so that other people don't waste their time on this video after seeing my comment

I’ve definitely built bases off your videos where you don’t talk but having you explain what you are doing makes it 1000 times easier.. Also you will be happy to know that the oasis is STILL my go to design for a quick base. I get compliments on it constantly. I did change a few things up to make it my own and make it work on a 1milx battlefield server. But even the og version will hold up to 3 mlrs and an airstrike.. which is a vip thing on the battlefield server that I’ve seen absolutely level a base. This one looks just as good. Gotta give it a try cuz I need all the peeks I can get to defend against this pesky vips 😂 peace and love my dude.. keep it up

Very straightforward and easy to follow guide.
The only thing that I'd like to see additionally is a materials list on how much it costs for each segment and upkeep per day.
Otherwise great starter base :)

i love the base design but i just want to let you know at the double door in shell that puts you into the up and over part of the base you should switch that honeycomb to the tc side instead on the door side just to give the tc a little bit more protection

You could also add a single door frame then add vending machine for extra storage
If you go in through the 6 box loot room (only 1 wall to outside), you take down the garage door and then floor to TC room and you're in.

love it! i re-created this base but from a 2x2 into this (was kinda hard in some parts, because im new to the game), imo this design is great, and i love 2x2 bases because it easier to move around and faster to gear up! i changed quite a lot of things, but still kept the main design! really good base, gonna build it soon in a wipe!

Yo I've been using this base and its good for onlines, not that strong for offlines tho. One thing that you can do is to add metal barricades behind the roofs in the peeks so people can't softside. Apart from that, I really like this base and its easy to build. Cheers Secret keep it up

Because the externals are to close with the added extentions towards the base and it thinks it is on the main tc
I play solo most of the times and just started Rust. While i think it's a great video explaining how to expand , don't think i'll ever build this bcs it's not worth it when solo. This requires a crazy amount of resources and building time. I really thought this is going to be a starter base vid with smart but strong designs. This works for clans i think. Cheers🍻

Cost to build?
Had my first successful online defend today. Love the base. I changed the top peaks (the ones from the external to the main low wall under the shooting floor. I made them same height so i could shoot through the tiny gap. Killed 3 then took there loot. Best day in rust ever. Im not a noob but im realy bad at pvp so i was hyped. Defo my new build andxyou defo get a,sub.
Not bad, but the 21:13 mark where you join the section back to the main base, you need to put some extra half walls under the solid tris. Otherwise, the outside half wall is a single point that can be blasted away to knock out the entire connection. Specifically, the spot where you put the turret should really be honey comb, and a pair of turrets on either side, instead.
@4:15 I like putting my WB1 and research bench infront of the double doors to the outside so that I can open them and shoot out without worrying about anyone getting it. Works like nice little early game peaks to defend from

Ignore all the hate secret, this was the first base I’ve ever built and it wasn’t complicated at all, survived my very first offline as well. Great base, keep it up. ❤

biggest weakness with small/medium bases are that the walls and doors are easy to splash with rockets... I feel people sleep too hard on single doors for when you upgrade to armored walls

Absolutely love these bases been using urs for a while bc they are not to expensive and you have so many for different sized groups using this one for Mondays you already know it running 3 deep we will devour the server and defend any online attempt keep it up

good base but i don’t think the shooting floor covers the whole compound/near the base. also you might’ve been able to fit a bunker in the wallstack + there were some unused squares that could’ve been extra loot storage or bedrooms. overall though i think its a nice, unique take on a common footprint that’s actually really cheap. it’s definitely usable but i think it could be made a bit better with a couple extra edits, good job 👍

What if I can’t put a square out front of the front door before externals?
I almost done building this base, just gonna finish up the shooting floor tomorrow, but where could you place a large battery in this base?
How to drain the turrets ez. Ladder on the wood wall with the top of the furnace between you and the turret. You should get a spot where no matter what gun is in the turret it should drain.
how do you get into a server like that where u can have anything u want?
A tip is to put external tc in a triangle so if people raid your external they gotta blow a triangle to get the loot from it
Hope you could answer, I’m practicing this build now and was wondering, first when just beginning the funnel, do 4 triangles and the you do the square, why? The 4th triangle is what we need isn’t it? Or is there something I’m missing? Also why wait with connecting them to base? I could connect them with those triangles any time? I’m pretty new to rust so wanted to understand the reasoning
what is the purpose of disconnecting the TC during a raid?
It’s because if you do, when they come on there whole base is gone
If you get raided and they break your TC you or they cant place another one without disconnecting the external TC's
used this base for the first time the other day and defended an online raid and was really easy to defend bc of all the peaks

No idea why people hates this base , i absolutely love it , not gonna lie i aint bob the builder and i might not stand a chance to build it on a server unless that server has very low pop but that didnt stop me to build it on the ukn building server 😊, i even saved it . I've been using this base design for the last 3 wipes on a 2x and 3x server.
The base is really good to defend, but let's be honest, who's online for defending their base?
I got offlined a lot and really cheap tbh. They would usually just blast through the walls after entering the shell.
It's really fun and easy to build, though.
I like it alot nice base design it's just the upkeep for me, Not saying I won't build it I still will but the upkeep gon be a pain
Update: Upkeep is now 15k idk why
side not... first floor turret with the rooves... make sure you have turrets.. the floor that ends up being the bottom of your 6 box loot rooms can be softsided pretty easily if you are offline..
can you move tc from core to a 4th or 5th or 6th floor later in wipe with this build or will you be blocked from placing the new tc?? -not a builder...

I've got 2 sides which are still decaying after the triangle frames back to main base, when I try to repair the wall they just crumble...any suggestions?
Tip: He uses plugins on rust! Make sure you add materials and upkeep as you go or it will decay and make it easier for it to be raided :) (i wil list total cost if you dont wanna have to watch the vid)

on 26:59 those lockers i replaced the window behind with a wall as during raids or in general they kepp getting broken through them
