Nice build, its nice to see a build that dont make you farm all day for the upkeep
It’s not even bad
yea but there is nothing new about this and its also super annoying with tc access so fuck no
and this is the base "2x1"))
@@alibabapirce9782 no need to place 100 boxes mate..
farm all day for upkeep? its literally 3 stone nodes and like 2 metal nodes XD tf?!
Looks similar to a build I currently use when I'm solo, but I never was able to find a good way to create a good compound for it, This helps a lot thx.
I dig the simplicity of this design, nothing earth shattering but a different way for me to revamp a 2x1 for me
if you build anything but a bunker you're raided people wtf is this
@@youngddg9931 nobody onlines anymore lil bro
If you build against a mountain or between two rocks you can save on honeycomb, especially if the gap is too narrow to squeeze between the wall
@@carteradams1079it's easier for people to top down that way
A vid for setting up electricity on this specific base would be golden and appreciated since most people struggle with that.
Yes. I just got back into rust and have no idea about the electrical part of it
@@JahMarleyMan ok haha that’s good. If you do ever find out don’t forget! Enjoy rusting lol
@@JahMarleyMan I’m hoping you post your own vid
Let me see what magic I can do
@@zerieth6620 is the magic done
I should be finishing up work and going home but instead I'm transfixed by this build for a game I don't even have time to play anymore.
play a 2x 3x wym no time
@@youngddg9931 some people go work or school?
I think most of the people watching this are people who wish they had time to play Rust still, and so we live vicariously through others.
Getting better my guy, prob fav one so far.
Some really cool ideas here! Some of the placements would make getting around difficult. I'd replace some of shelf/box rooms with bedrooms instead of having beds in the walkways. And you can replace some of the boxes with vertical barrels if you want more storage. Love the peek designs and turret placements, though I'd like to see a version with chainlink fences in front
Dope ASF base really like how simple but powerful also being easy and fast to build this is good for a duo who don't want to play for to long
the box edit with the door was fire
A couple adjustments and making the TC 1st floor a bunker would make this little base tanky AF. Love it, well done.
Couldn't you also raise the foundation on the first jump up to make it a bunker? Not new to rust, but I am new to trying to make custom bases and this one is unique I'm gonna take the footprint and see what I can do with it
this video is missing out on so much lol. a bunker would have actually made this good. otherwise this is a rather useless base
the garage door into the bedroom was killing me. easy way to lose your spawn point in a raid.
i made it into a bunker and added some extra honeycomb and it worked just fine
Same idea lol
Bunkers are falling out of meta a bit, so I don't blame him for not including it. Most people just pound a base straight to tc, so a bunker is useless in those situations, and just makes living in it more annoying.
seems pretty good!
Genius build!1
Built this a couple times now and god damn it goes hard. Takes such minimal upkeep and easy to expand in stages, like you would on a vanilla or high pop server. Highly recommend it for a solo/duo/trio.
How do u get to the TC? Do u have to keep picking boxes up?
@@robertduff877you should only access TC every two days or so. The upkeep is very small do no need to constantly access it.
@@robertduff877place the box in front of the tc sideways, so you can still crouch under and reach the hitbox. They show in the video what the placement should look like @0:32. See the campfire where you walk over? Garage door instead of the double makes it easier to get in.
Hey nice base just wanna say keep up the good work
Ngl this is an insane build. Trying it currently
Fortnite looks crazy these days
This is really awesome! I’m new to rust and usually play duo with my friend. We couldn’t figure out how to build a strong base that we didn’t have to be on every 10 hours to upkeep! Earned a sub from me!
если ты думаешь , что это прочная база , мне тебя жаль . такое строение читается как открытая книга и для рейдеров это просто как открыть консерву.
Daymmmm op base design
wow thats beautiful
Perfect base for the solo.
Badass 2x1 expanded. I’ll have to use this one day. Think it’s possible solo? ;)
Can confirm possible for solo
at 7:20 i have never even though about just reversing the side the horizontal barrier to make a different kind of angle so people cant grab boxes and stuff nice job on that purely unique
You can just lock it lol.
You should do that in general because it gives you wider peaks from the inside
unnecessary resources@@denisbochkarev2827
The build is ok. There are parts to it that I question and can see improvements for. My biggest issue is that the 2x1 revamp has become a popular choice recently after I've been using my own design for the past 3 months that's seems to be better than this. Its the warrior 2x1 and 2x2 resurgance again
omg this bro improves the stone openings in the mvk
very nice 👌🏻
Although there are better base designs that this, it's always a breath of fresh air to get something new and unique. Nice base.
I'd recommend turning the bottom into a stability bunker though.
Triangle frame at tc(to close window frame) and u can connect another triangle floor to place 6 boxes
Nice
Nice to know which corner of the base to c4 Into for an easy raid.
+What are we going to build this wipe?
- A simple 2x1 would do, I guess.
The 2x1 in the end:
havnt played rust in a bit. since when can you put 2 small boxes under a t2?!
tc access is rough, im guessing u have around 300-1k hours on rust with this build. keep it up
Nice. Is there any reason to put embrasure on the outside of windows rather than inside?
nice 2x1 compact and VERY small build. haha either way this base looks crazy
Getting to that tc looks really inconvenient
Hi thank for this I'm a admin for console (sucks atm) I'm using this design for some of my free raid bases
Hq might be a bit high for a solo but definitely good solo duo base but i seen some things that probably didn't need to be upgraded to hq could of saved some for sure w base
Really cool build. Awesome, constantly thinking really smart.
Need a base wife for that one. But the upkeep cost is worth it. Nice!
Good twist to the classic 2x1. I my self like to think I specialize in the 2x1 so I’m gonna use this foot print and turn it into a monster somthing a little bit bigger and stronger for the 4-8 player groups who don’t want to farm all day but also want somthing fast but strong to live in. Nice twist tho!
good base but not everyone has skins for rocks or barrels
What do you do if you don’t got adobe for the shooting floor
How do we access tc when chests are there? Do we gotta remove them everytime?
Ya, I was thinking the same thing. That loot room before the TC is just pointless really.
not even close to new method nice click bait
Nice base but that ain't a 2x1 lol
more of a 4x1 at the start
@@BashStreamits a 2x1 with 2 triangles that doesn't make it a 4x1 lol wtf
Facts badass build tho
It’s in FACT a 2x1 🤦🏻♂️ what are u talking about
It's literally a 2x1 start. You obviously must be new to rust
One question, how do you access the tc??
That loot room infront of tc isnt optimal. U can fit a furnace in the triangle with the tc if u put it against a wall, then make it a triangle instead of a full floor so u can access it. Same storage, extra furnace.
That's a lotta work for 1 extra furnace
Trash tc placement will kill a loot room
The loot room works well enough. If you need more space for cooking coal and mixing, just build one or two more floors higher. Once you put up wood/stone walls to compound, the large and electric furnaces will take care of everything you need to smelt.
how r u getting to tc
The fact that the thumbnail makes the build look like it’s gonna have a cool bunker or gap or something, then the video did not reflect the footnail
Nice however in the jump down to core I would add a bunker
wind turbine placement? in the middle?
There's an older design that employs this same starter shape bunker plus roof stacked by evil wurst which is better in my opinion
Waling out the door with a hammer! When you know you have been playing too long.....
What's the best server for building that features /remove and /fly?
intoxicated eu sandbox
Combien de roquet ou c4 minimum pour avoir acces a la tc ?
Nice build, but i just stick to my non expanded no honeycomb starter stone 2x1😂 big bases with peaks are cool and all, but it’s like 100% offline guaranteed. I have 2500 hrs and have never once been onlined in a big base, just wastes a full day or 2 building it to lose it all while you sleep to a fresh spawn with no job or life that will drain turrets for 8hrs straight😂
That's a pretty big 2x1
👏
Me sees the video: oh cool, new base design.
Me into watching 1 minute: nothing like the thumbnail
That is fucking genius
how do you get tc??
this is a dumb request but can you do a design like this but only including the things rust console has?
still pretty new to the game so I genuinely have no clue but do you have to use a hammer to remove any window to access the lockers/batteries? I didn't think you could just pick things up through the windows but it seems like it would be a lot of extra effort to pick them up and repair them every time you put them back down. Awesome build though!
You can put a garage door but its more expensive and have the same protection to defend a raid
You only put windows when you go to sleep. Also you only need to access tool cupboard every two days or so to add materials for upkeep.
@@Ormusn2o that makes a lot of sense, I use tc too much for general storage I think. Tried this design out without the externals though and it worked great!
as a new guy to rust this hurts my brain to try an copy such a piece of art.
Same with me, im new and every base video just hurt my brain 😭
Is this a main base and how many rockets is it
Nice base, but what about durability? On the 4th level its very weak no? Cause the structure is higher, => that durability (strength) of building is lower then 1st and 2nd levels? Or not?
how to acces the tc though? cause i cant
how you supposed to reach TC with that box placement? :P
if you watch till the end he walks right up to it
You could also just make a regular square tc room bcuz putting the tc in the honeycomb doesnt grant any extra space
whats raid cost though
What is that barrel thing name??
Дом в 5 этажей, но по 2 стены до лута. По 2 этажа за раз бахай и спина от добычи серы болеть не будет.😂
Can you add a bunker to this design ? Please
One problem how do you get the electricity for the turrets?
It looks like it had some HEAVY inspiration by the *ultra* base desigb from rust tips 6 months ago. I hope its just a misunderstanding😅
how do you reach tc
Bro built the base I built with 15 hrs in Rust and added a shooting floor to it. Amazing.
New? I've been doing this for years. Put the triangle on the left or right and you'll be able to access the TC.
I'm finna use this coz im shit at building fr
what exactly is new method about this? i saw the thumbnail and thought there will be some cool floorstack but this was a waste of time.
Facts.
I was like ooh a cool 2x1. *Proceeds to build a monstrosity base that could only ever be upkept by a 20 man zerg*
he shows the upkeep... its literally 1 single 20 minute farm run worth of mats....
love the explanation for the inward facing Metal horizontal embrasure. i was asking outloud why then you showed. might build this base on the 300 pop im playing
This is my sign to play again.
Im hella new to rust but isnt the cheapest way to raid this base is through first floor wall? Wouldnt more honeycomb be better?
22k hours here, realistically the core design isn’t optimal but if you’re new and solo and not on a server like Rustoria US Main, it should be fine
This is one of the best builds I’ve ever seen, but I do have one question on the roof. It looks to me that you pointed all of your Turrents towards your roof scoops. Why did you do that?
js to not deal with the hassle of turning them thats js where youw ould place them
@@adanrosales3297 r u sure tho?
@@adanrosales3297 I thought maybe they shoot through the roof scoops .. like a glitch
at the begining i was thinking "so how the fuck do i get out" but when i saw the shotgun traps i was like "ah. smart"
such a pain to get to tc though?
What are them barrels you put down at 2:48 ??
Its a dlc
How am i supposed to use the turrets with out windmills
how to acces tc?
Where do you put the wind turbines or solar panels?
imo best option looks like the triangles at both ends of the 2x1
Why not point them inwards ? Thanks 🙏
Can anyone tell me what the point of windows frame walls is infront of TC? I've always wondered what the purpose is. 😅
Not a noob, but why are the turrets placed outwards instead of inwards?
Needs more honeycomb, only bottom floor has one layer
How you gonna power those turrets with no windmills though🤔
There is a video on his channel with the same base, where he shows how to install windmills
Where is the electricity lol
What are all the resources needed
How u even get to tc
