  • I looped a Gmajor chord and then gave examples of how to play within the Key of G major and how each mode has a chord associated with it.
G MAJOR IONIAN A minor Dorian B minor Phrygian C major Lydian
please understand that all music is based off of the MAJOR SCALE W/W/H/W/W/W/H/
    E 3/5/7
    A 3/5/7
    D 4/5/7
    G 4/5/7
    B 5/7/8
    E 5/7/8
these lessons are for beginners that are trying to understand the modes or anyone who doesn't have the best knowledge of the modes.
if you play through G major Ionian then strum a G MAJOR chord
    it sounds good.
I played in F# diminished to show example of how certain modes
that are not major will have notes that don't sound correct.
thanks for watching please like and subscribe
