- To make chewy caramel toffee at home, follow this simple and easy recipe video by GreyPot.
Ingredients to make Caramel Toffee
Sugar - 1/2 Cup ( to caramelize)
Sugar - 1/2 Cup
Cream - 1/2 Cup
Honey - 2 tbsp
Glucose Syrup - 2 tbsp (Optional)
Vanilla Essence - 1 tbsp
Butter - 3 tbsp
Salt - a pinch
Method to make Caramel Toffee
1. Heat sugar and caramelize.
2. Add cream and boil, add sugar, honey, glucose syrup and cook till it thickens.
3. Add salt and turn off the flame.
4. Add butter and vanilla essence and mix until butter is melted.
5. Pour this into a greased aluminum foil-lined tray.
6. Allow to cool down for 2 hours.
7. Take this out into a butter paper and cut it.
8. Wrap it with butter paper and store in airtight container. - Jak na to + styl

Thank you for your easy to follow along video. My son (13 years old) and I just made these caramel toffees and YES my house smells delicious! I went ahead and double the recipe because the cream I bought only came in one cup size so I didn't know what else to use it on so doubling up the ingredients work just fine. We can't wait to try them after they've cooled down.

Great recipe - thank you! 2 things, please update it with (1) the cooking temp you used (stove on low? medium? high?) Fyi, I burned 1st two batches trying to guess bef. trying medium-low heat -and- (2) what size pan you rest them in, my smallest (7”x11” brownie pan) still made flat toffees! Lol! Thanks Again!! 🥰

Hi thick cream means amul fresh cream like that or something else if so pl mention the brand name also
