I have known Mo Pitney since he was born in Rockford. He has twin sister and brother he is from a very musical family. It does my heart good to see him do good.
Samantha, this is from a show honoring the great country singer Ray Price. Mo is till making a living with his music. He is also a songwriter as well, and does a lot of original songs. You haven't heard of him because country music has been taken over by the new pop country. Mo is one of many fine talents who came to Nashville to make classic style country music and has often been told that he is too country. How crazy. He is around 30 now I think. He has a CZcams channel and has videos there. He often performs with his brother playing bass and singing harmony as well as their sister who has a wonderful voice as well. He is also married to a young lady named Emily who is a talent as well. She used to perform with her family band (mom, dad and siblings) doing mostly bluegrass. You should definitely check out more of Mo and there is also a gal named Lauren Mascitti who is a very talented writer and is an incredible singer also. She too is a huge fan and advocate for traditional country music. Oh and that instrument is a pedal steel guitar.
Mo is 30 yrs. old and this song was a few yrs. ago he was 22 when Mo sung this Song on Country Family Reunion . Mo is My Favorite Country Artist and Mo is a Christian and he shows it in every one of his events Mo has a Wife Emily that she is a awesome singer also and she sings a lot with Mo and he has two children Mo is Blessed with a talented Family that they all sing together and play and together
This is what real country should ,this type of country music is what played on the radio when I was going up in the 1960s into oklahome
This is an old Ray Price song but MO PItney has done it so much better to my ear. I wish he would record it so I can put it on my Playlist.
You should hear the version Willie Nelson did it's beautiful
Thank you so much for doing a reaction to Mo. I really love his music and he is so down to earth and has a number of fantastic songs.
Mo is Absolutely Awesome Mo sings good Country Music Mo Soft Smoothing Voice is so good you just want to keep hearing Mo sing more and More of him . Mo entertains you from the Start to the Finish of all of his Events
This song is an old country music standard written by Hank Cochran in 1958. Made big by Ray Price. That instrument you’re referring to is a pedal steel guitar.
Mo is Special
Mo is Absolutely Awesome Absolutely Amazing Mo is Special
Since you asked what's this instrument...it is a pedal steel guitar...Ray's band always featured twin fiddles...a sound he made famous...Mo did a great job singing this for Ray's widow.
Mo's birthday today; his voice is soothing.🌹✨💖🙏🏻🇺🇸
This show was several years ago a show Larry Black developed called, Country's Family Reunion....this was done to preserve old time country music and of course make Larry rich, LOL.
Look up Mo singing "Borrowed Angel"
That instrument is called a "Pedal Steel Guitar." The distinctive, unique sound of country music.
I believe this was a tribute program to Ray Price, the original artist of this song. There were other performers there singing their versions of Mr. Price's songs, and I believe the lady in blue is Mr. Price's wife. I think they record the programs to eventually sell to the public.
I love him so much!!!
Love the 70's or 80's style country.
Love to see you doing Country reactions. Here are a few Country song I think you might like.
Joe Nichols - I'll Wait For You
Cody Johnson - 'Til You Can't
Chris Young - Drinkin' Me Lonely
Craig Morgan - This Ain't Nothin'
This is a nephew of a friend of mine. Awesome guy.
😱
You should catch his singing Borrowed Angel
Mo, short for Morgan, is 29, (dob 3/24/93), married with two little girls. And yes you said his name correctly. His younger brother and sister, Blake and Holly who are twins, play in his band. His wife Emily also sings and sometimes he can get her on stage to sing with him. He now has a beard so he doesn't look so much like a 12 year old. 😂 I've seen him many times at his shows and he is such a nice humble guy when you meet him. You should check out his song Local Honey, one of my favorites.
will do, Thank you so much
You know good music... actually, Wikipedia has his birthday year wrong. It is 1992, he confirmed it with me. He wrote a song "I turned 30 years old today" that he put out on his birthday this year. Very, very talented family that I enjoy following.
peddle steel guitar is what you are wondering about
He is big, loved his slide guitar accompanist
He is a 22 year old from Illinois singing old country music! The man sitting down is playing a steel guitar!
Samantha, love your reactions. Could you please do a reaction of Brad Paisley, please do " I'm gonna miss her".... Very funny, you will laugh...

That instrument you are talking about is called a (pedal steel guitar)
After the fiddles was a steel guitar.
So good. Pitey it ain't recorded by him.
The instrument you are asking about is a steel guitar
You may like the Malpass brothers
And the Guy sitting down is Playing a Steel Guitar
Pedal steel guitar, nice right.
Malpass brothers song just suppose
❤ you're funny! Mo is the 💩
Steel guitar
I'm going to take issue with everyone here. Mo's version here illustrates why so many Brits cant relate to, dont like country music. Compared with the original, Ray Price version, this is AWFUL! Mo CAN SING though. In this instance, he didn't exercise a lot of vocal and integrity control, if you will. Mo's voice sloppily slid up, down, sideways, back again. In your spare time, listen to the original, of which there are videos. How about that opening line: "You make my eyes run over all the time". WOW
Tah
I was always taught if you can't sat anything nice then you shouldn't say anything at all...
