1.The streamer is actually entertaining and the audience isnt there to watch a specific part of the game. They're there to watch the streamer and experience the stream itself not the fucking game.
2.Theirs no "dead air" on other streams when the creator takes a break because the chats not a toxic cesspool like yours phil. Big streamers have tight nit communities that are allowed to talk amongst themselves and have fun even when the stream isn't talking to them.

I built PCs in highschool with like a 20 dollar allowance per week by buying parts one at a time until I could build it. It's never been cheaper to build a PC that can play games than it is today.
Phil always tells his viewers "when you become an adult" like he has to explain adult responsibility, yet he doesn't make good financial decisions or fix broken stuff or even pay his taxes on time.

Phil has made easily over 1.5 million the last 16 years. Early days of CZcams he was making $30,000 a month some months. He had a BMW and two condos…he had $500,000 debt. To have half a million in debt you have to have been making over 1 million
Dear gods, where to start on this one. 1. Other streamers are "lazy". Phil, those streamers either a. stream exclusively and then put up the archive for those who missed the stream because the stream is entertaining rather than to make the video be "DarkDingus Plays XYZ Game where I beat XYZ boss" which is the content you're looking for. or b. the streamer also does the bite sized chunks but without spamming their viewers feeds (I have an account that follows Phil, he's jamming peoples' feeds with 8-10 videos a day. Most people making CZcams letsplays do smaller chunks and cut out the BS of streaming by editing their videos, and then put up one big supercut at the end of the full playthrough. Phil, for a user to view your khantent the way you want them to view it, they must first go to your channel through a bookmark or memorized address. Then they have to click on playlists. Then they need to select where in the playthrough they want to pick up. This is not user friendly. So few people want to take the effort to watch entire playlists of your khantent. Even long players who I adore their content, I very rarely go into a playlist to binge watch their playthrough (I can count on one hand the youtubers who I've done this one. Jesse Cox's south park games I've done, and Johnny Awesome's Persona 5 series. THATS IT) Much less people going to the playlist for the latest video in the series and then when the next video comes out, go back to the playlist and look for a new entry. That is so much work for a viewer to catch up on the latest videos.
2. The PC build. Yes Phil, 10 years ago a 750TI and an I7 with 16GB of RAM... that would be a top of the line PC. That graphics card was damn good and frequently performed better than GPUs 2 generations after. So yes, you got a top of the line PC for 3 grand 10 years ago. Your problem with Rage was you thought you could just max settings and that would make the game look good. Most of those settings you didnt need and you could have put the game on High or Ultra graphics and likely would have been fine rather than pushing your sliders all the way to the right. Even people running a GTX Titan at the time or running 2 TitanX's in SLI (people like TotalBiscuit at the time had that kind of setup) wouldnt just max all of their sliders without knowing what they did. Hell there were jokes back then of "Can it run Crysis?" because that game was notoriously brutal on GPUs. But even then, when you claimed you were part of "PC Master Race, I am one of you" who ran PC LAN parties and built his own PCs, somehow didnt know how to build a computer 10 years ago, much less how to upgrade that PC to keep it somewhat modern until you either hit a power requirement, or the motherboard no longer supports what it is you're looking to do (this takes about 7-10 years) and then you're in full rebuild mode. But Phil doesnt know how to upgrade that PC even on those 16GB of RAM that he claims he KNEW was inadequate. Ok Phil, open your case, see how many slots you have and what you need to do to upgrade your RAM. Do you need to pull 4 4GB sticks? Do you have 2 slots available that you can toss 32GB of RAM into them and then really the only thing on that PC that is wanting would be the video card and frankly you could buy a 3070 for like 500 dollars and be great. This build doesnt have to be some 5k system. Now the 3070 probably has much higher power requirements than his 750 and its possible his case wouldnt be able to handle the height of the new card, but that's the kind of knowlege that comes with building PCs and upgrading them. See what you actually need. Do you need a new power supply? Do you need to be in full rebuild mode and cant even cannibalize the case because it doesnt have the airflow you need?
I've been shopping for a new build recently. My current PC is just fine, I just want a little more. So I've been pricing out a system that will last me 5-7 years without a major upgrade or a full rebuild required. I can build an absolute dream of a system for 3300 dollars. And that's being pretty gucci with the processor, motherboard and graphics card. I get it if he cant afford to drop 3300 dollars tomorrow and have to spend the 2 or more hours hunched over your kitchen table to build the PC. I get it. But Phil, you can SAVE MONEY. Cut the doordash out completely until you get your PC. Cut WWE Champions out. You make MORE than enough money to afford a 3000 dollar computer in a month if you're disciplined.

he went with a 780ti but yeah at the end of 2014 980TI dropped, I assume he bought it at the start of 2014 or late 2013 to get a 780ti since that was the big GPU of 2013.

The new computer is a i7-6800k with a 1080 video card.
So, he's going from a 10-year old computer (Intel 4th gen) to an 8-year old one (i7-6800k and 1080 video card were introduced in 2Q 2016).

He's also going from an unsupported OS (8.1) to an OS that will unsupported in 18 months (and that CPU is blacklisted by Windows 11)
