Seeing Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho together takes me back to watching Wrestle Kingdom in 2018. That match was amazing and paved the way for AEW. Long Live The Alpha and The Omega.

Some of the absurdity in this match fits well with how crazy the Yazuka series can get. Kenny probably booked this match as he plays/knows video games. Well done.
lol, I just remembered, you can hit people with bicycles at people in that game.
More than just plays/knows games, he got a cameo appearance in the previous Like a Dragon game as a trooper card, and has been hinting at the possibility of actually appearing as a character in one of the games similar to how a bunch of other NJPW wrestlers did in Yakuza 6 and Yakuza Kiwami 2.
They been pumping out these damn like a dragon games. I can't ever get through any of the yakuza games. They are always the same.

I really enjoyed this match, a PPV worthy level of violent insanity. Kota riding the bike was adorkable. Kota getting clotheslined off it was awesome.
Great to see Hobbs and Cage back in the ring at the same time.
Also, great to see Hobbs in pants because his other ring gear is weird.
As an aew fan and as a yakuza fan this was such a treat to watch 🙌

A 53 years old man not only rocks with sunglass, suit and ties but also goes further to wrestle in shirt and tie. At first I didn't realize that it's Chris Jericho who is fighting in shirt and tie. He looks elegant when he puts on sunglass, suit and tie.
Cage with the 'you good' to Kenny after the slam through the tables and he protected him well. Dude's been one of the safest workers in the world.
Botches a lot though. Even in this match, that attempted pump handle was awful, even made Tazz laugh before he caught himself 😂
Should it...be considered a good thing that people watching the match could clearly see one of the guys checking on his opponent...on camera?
That impact by Chris Jericho on Konosuke Takeshita was proper good.

This match was really well done. Jericho was a standout here. His JE really came through visually. I’m impressed with how he can still go after all these years of putting his body on the line at his level. Omega as well. Big Show’s bump was also really insane. Fantastic match. Loved every minute of it.
