I take back anything negative I've ever said about FTR. They have hands down changed my opinion by turning 2 5 plus star matches in less then a week. These guys have made the move to the next level and I don't think they are even done, and may be just starting. This is what I love about tag team wrestling. Hats off to 2 great teams and a true instant classic

@@Voysh2Voysh69 Of course they were boring. Their whole thing was get our asses beat for 20 minutes. Cheat and do a move. Plus, they spent their whole careers trying to be Arn and Tully. They are much better at just being FTR and their own legacy, then trying to be somebody else's. They needed to wash that off themselves. I hope to see them continue at this level.
Seeing these two completely different approaches to tag team wrestling, the flashy and agile style of the Bucks against the hard and powerful style of FTR make an unbelievably great combination in the ring. Top tier stuff.
Yeah, clashing contrasting styles has been a great way to create classic matches for decades, as long as everyone involved is talented enough to adapt. Pairing similar styles is safe, but rarely amazing. Contrasting styles is more of a high risk/high reward booking. You need to make sure they can hang with each other styles, but if they do it's probably gonna be awesome.

We fans watched RoH, we got jaded from that awesome match. This was the only way to book the match so it gets a great reaction without burying anyone
@@MrTeamGuy Finishers being countered or stopped is fine for Cornette, but he believes that it reduces the effectiveness of the finisher if it takes more than once to finish the match. Hitting a finisher should be a big deal and should almost always mark the end (breaking up the pin, pulling the ref out of the ring, etc.; those things are good). If it doesn't end the match then it shouldn't be called a finisher.

It has to mean something. That's not as simple as finishing the match... It has to impact the match. So .. they have to sell it. Something which is rare to see from the young bucks. Plus. The false finishes all made sense here. They didn't blatantly kick out after kick out. They rope breaked. They broke up eachothers pins. And they hit EACHOTHERS finishes then kicked out which makes sense..

Even when they're working heel, these teams both do such an amazing job of making their opponents look strong, even in defeat. Excellent match. FTR is probably the most unselfish team, when they were on Dark they were making young teams look so good. And Young Bucks frequently willing to lose to further a story. Awesome stuff.
They seriously need to do a 2 out of 3 60 minute match. This was a PPV quality match
In less than a month FTR went from forgettable heels in the Pinnacle, to main event awesome faces. Thank you AEW. Now let's get Santana and Ortiz those belts.

This match was phenomenal! They really had me going for a minute. I actually thought FTR were gonna have a really short ROH title run. I am interested to see the two companies seperate more as time goes by, but for now its cool to see some new title shots.
The rematch 18 months in the making lived up to the hype. Last 10 minutes was insane, the crowd loved every second of it, and FTR has been absolutely on fire lately.

This match was 🔥 FTR putting out 2 MOTY candidates within the same week. FTR/Bucks killed it!
That match was simply outstanding. I am watching from Greece so I stayed up until 5 in the morning and it was a great decision because this match ruled! Outstanding chemistry between these guys, a great clash of wrestling styles, unbelievable moves, this was a fantastic encounter. I love the slow FTR face turn and these guys went from one classic match to another in less than a week!
FTR are the definition of consistency and are simple great to watch! They manage to feel old school but are still top of the modern wrestling ladder. So glad they're getting the push they deserve.
After this match I have massive respect for these four men the heart of the tag division on aew & roh

I've been watching pro wrestling for ~30 years... this may be the most entertaining match I've ever witnessed. It's not just the high-flying moves, it's also the subtle stuff like how well he sold this pin at 6:13 even though he knew there'd be a tap out. It sold the effectiveness of the preceding sequence of aerial moves so well. I was for sure the match would end there but it kept going. The timing, the choreography, everything was top notch. Kept me on the edge of my seat... phenomenal stuff from FTR and The Young Bucks
This clash of styles was top notch. Old school and cruiserweight style both have their place in wrestling, with all due respect to every Cornette of the world.
Jesus...first againts The Briscoes and now againts The Bucks,FTR is going to be the best tag team of 2022.
Dax Harwood is the breakout star of the team, hopefully Cash can get a few singles matches in to show us how good he is on his own so he can be on Dax’s level.

Look at these 4... just magic. This is their 2nd time facing each other but add in this red hot Boston crowd made it all the more special. Who'd of thought FTR would get this much love as faces? Matt and Nick heel'd it up so well. Hats off to both these teams.
