Ring of Honor (ROH) is a professional wrestling promotion recently acquired by Tony Khan, CEO of AEW, Chief Football Strategy Officer of the Jacksonville Jaguars and GM/Sporting Director of Fulham F.C. Same with New Japan if you notice they always have someone who is a push away from being a top star (the new Ace) I think Sanada is being positioned to take a step up soon. Tama Tonga is like Jay White was.

ROH won't die because ROH sad as it is knows its place and the owner doesn't want to push it to be to big or seen as competition to the big boys. And NJPW having abit of a lull (internationally) because omega left as they had 2 years worth of booking for him and how they replace him with Jay White who isn't nearly as charismatic or as skilled as him. But I see bushi and Sanada getting lined up for a push soon. But look at point you made with AJ (USA) or Omega (Canadian) they are dying. That's from the American and/or international prospective cause it's not "trending". But from a Japanese point of view they will be doing just fine. You say a company is dead but NJPW is a prime example of a few changes can make them "trending" again.they even have a ega call the dark days. Company isn't dead until they stop producing I.E wcw and ecw

They’re two completely different performers. They both made history in their respective promotions. Rey performed on America’s biggest stage, and Ibushi in Japan’s. Ibushi is definitely on par with Rey in terms of wrestling ability. Why do you think he is a clown?

See it's crap like this that really shows that wrestling of today is a lesser form than it's past. They take the emotion away, yet they still want us to care somehow. The only way to enjoy this is by either of these 2 things.. 1: turning my brain off while I'm watching. 2: lowering my standards while I'm watching. This is what is known as "dumbing yourself down" to enjoy something.
The energy of the crowd and the moves of the wrestlers is super fun to watch and you can feel their love for their work.
compared to what everything has become, this crowd looks dead.
To think 15 years ago sequences like Rey Mysterio and Kota did were considered "boring" heck even tag team matches in general but to see how much pro wrestling has evolved it's been a true honor
High flying/well choreographed wrestling (like the styles of Bucks, MCMG etc.) was always my favourite growing up, and seeing it evolve to this much is incredible

Sorry this was a stupid statement. 15 years ago was 2005 and Rey Mysterio/other luchadors had been seen as exciting by US audience since they came to US in the 1990s. The indy scene exploded in early 2000s because of this same type of wrestling.

12 mins over. You can see a ref run to ringside and start shouting “ Marty, WTF, and go home” several times. They ignore him and go another 5 mins. I assume Marty was scolded in the back because he didn’t come out with the rest of the Elite at the end of the show for the big in ring promo

The match was supposed to go longer, but they had a very strict time limit so they stopped it there.
It's hilarious the way Fenix instantly climbs back out of the ring after that too. And then he tries the same spot AGAIN! Oy!

Rey mysterio is my favorite wrestler since I started watching wrestling in 2006. Even though I started watching him later in his career, I’ve watched his past matches and loved them. Sometimes it feels like he doesn’t get the respect he deserves after all the years he spent wrestling for fans. But times like this I realize how much others do respect him and to see current wrestlers idolize him is touching.
I’m excited for their 2019, the new additions to their roster has been solid.

Everyone has their Mid place to go after they were Released by WCW.
It's just the WWE kept him watered down where the Independent feds let them fly high and really let them have creative power with their skills.

I see that young bucks are renowned as one of the best tag teams in the world but I don't see them THAT good. Seen their work from njpw, aew and other promotions but I would pick lucha bros, hardy boys etc anyday
