Steve Austin always gives youngsters advice that when you hit a big move or spot, go for the pin, because the whole point is to sell to the audience that you’re trying to win the damn match. Let’s consider this, first spin attempt is 13 minutes into the match, and it was poorly done. It’s ironic that we have all of this choreographed stuff and the first pen attempt couldn’t be timed correctly. Cirque du soleil all day.

@@JaymzZeppelin why not just watch gymnastics then? The athletes are way better at doing flips and choreography than even the best wrestler. The point is the athleticism is contained in the context of a wrestling match. If you stray too far it's just shirtless guys doing gymnastics or ballroom dancing

@Chuck Buskee I don't think so. Back then the wrestlers made an effort to make you believe that what you were seeing was real. The Bucks don't even try. They don't take it seriously. And I'm sorry but their so called High Flying moves don't impress me. I've seen it done better by better wrestlers.

That Piledriver they gave Christian looked like shit. And that Canadian destroyer they do off the top that only gets them a TWO count? How about when they prop up a steel chair against the head of a supposedly Unconscious Opponent and you can clearly tell the guy is holding that chair as tight as he can.
It may not be a real sport, but it was presented as real. When they stopped doing that it killed the illusion. Even The Undertaker with all his theatrics could go out there and have a believable looking match. Especially when he wrestled guys like Bret Hart.

Peter Avalon is super underrated
Of course, the Bucks and their sycophants must get their non-sensical, flippy jumps into the match. Does the obvious need stating here? Although we know it's entertainment (i.e. fake), shouldn't the performers try to suspend disbelief? Shouldn't they try to make it look like a fight? Shouldn't they try to make it look like 4 grown, adult men having a battle and not dance with each other? They don't look like anybody should fear them, no physique, and no intimidation. Also, the referee is nothing more than window dressing; he/she has no authority in the ring.
I just watched an old Midnight Rockers vs Rose & Somers match and there was no doubt those men hated each other and tried to put each other out of the business and they did it without the flippy-jumpy nonsense.
So when are we going to get our AEW video game?..not make by 2k or EA games. Lol

My first match that I watched full from aew I'm pretty sure, and my first time seeing the young bucks. Gotta say I don't understand why these guys are apparently extremely over. Boring af imo even though I can see they have talent they don't know what to do with it.

I can’t believe the young bucks trained this hard and developed this much skill, to put on matches this bad. Who agented this? Who thought this should be on television? These guys could be amazing if they have a shit, but if this is what they want to do they should just call this gymnastics instead of wrestling. I know it’s fake, but give me the slightest bit of illusion that this is an athletic contest. As for the librarian, just start over. When you can’t favorably compare your gimmick to Matt striker’s, you need to try something new.

Heel Kenny could take the title from Jericho having a lengthy reign untill facing & losing the title to a Babyface Hangman Page, getting Page over & creating a new main eventer
This match was awesome. The Young Bucks dominated the entire match. They did kicking, drop kicking, and super kicking. They were interactive with the crowd. QT Marshall does apple eating. Leva Bates does reading and screaming. Peter Avalon does hushing and apple choking.
