I grew up getting my ass kicked by energy removal because I was such a Brushfire (Ninetales Holo) fan back then. Glad crushing hammer isnt like the old energy removal.
loved the video guys, and seeing those old base set decks in action again
I would love to see more of this kind of content. Really shows the "evolution " of the game.
This took me right back to middle school lunchroom battles, and since that was never enough, more battling after school at the card shop! Please find more old decks, this was really enjoyable to watch!

i actually really enjoyed this and especially the nostalgic feel to it, you guys should do this more often like alternate weekly one is for BFF for the competitive side and the following week should be theme decks for either nostalgia or new people who want to get into the tcg but doesnt have that many cards and just alternate back and forth

As someone who is new to the Pokémon TCG (or any tcg for that matter) I love how easy you guys explain the game. Also I know newer Pokémon is more advanced but it’s more like piling new mechanics onto the base game.

loved this. I'd really like to see you all make your own old school decks maybe use jungle, fossil and base set. Would be interesting to see what type of strategies could be made with cards from those sets.

I enjoyed this! Would like to see a series maybe going through to Jungle and Fossil theme decks and Base 2 and Team Rocket theme decks etc. I think that would be really cool and fun

I actually collect the theme decks, have all of the originals in their boxes. It's nice to have decks made from each set so you can get a taste of what each set played like.

Can you guys do a "Bad Deck Monday"-like series? I loved that, and I think that would be sweet. Also, an Expanded DTT would be great on occasion, since the store I play at is Expanded. Currently I run an "Archie's Politoed" deck, and would love to see your take on it. Thanks!!!

These Base Set cards can now be seen in XY-Evolutions this November 2nd. If you watched TrainerChip's vid about the early leaks of XY12, these are the clues. The famous Base Set Charizard is in there. I love Starmie BREAK in this set because it 2HKOs Greninja BREAK.

3:52 That card position is for sleep. For paralysis, turn the card clockwise.
GUST of Wind is a misprint, the D is not necessary.
I got a zap deck for $50. Real happy with it so fun to use.
I got the mewtwo mayhem deck and in it, there is a generations sandshrew. I used one of those to stop a gigalith that was doing 220 damage. so funny.

Statistically if you start the coin on tails there is a higher chance that it will end on heads when flipped so you can cheat your flips, hence why dice is used now lol
Prof K. should make a Hawlucha deck vs N using a Helioptile/lisk deck. Greninja vs The Sparkle Army as well would be good

Black out was always sold out in my area, because people used them to grab 4 Hitmonchan to build Haymaker decks -___-

I think it would be cool if you open for example 6 packs each and try to build a deck out of these cards. Pretty much like you do it on Pre-releases.
