- We've been enjoying playing games on our Kickstarter Arduboy's for a while now. Therefore as the retail versions are now hopefully starting to be shipped we've decided to share with you our top ten Arduboy games so far.

Sirene actully just means Siren.
A mermaid is a type of Siren, a Siren is not necessarily a Mermaid though.

Oh yeah one more thing though, the 'One' screen was way too loud for headphone users xD
I have this and it definitely has that cool factor but I had issues getting games on the device. It was also kind of annoying that you can only load one game at the time!
Can't wait to get Arduboy! Wonder if its available for international shipping already...
Garvals, their website now says that they are in stock so if international shipping hasn't started it should do very soon. It's taken a while but things now seem to be moving along quickly with getting Arduboy's out for the world to enjoy. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, have a great week.

Yes if your thinking of getting one check out our other video in which I tell you all about the Arduboy and how to install games on to it. It's fairly easy once you know how and get used to it and the good news is that all the games are free to download. Also the last time I checked the Arduboy website they were now in stock. Thanks for the sub we really appreciate it.

I hope the screen has a fast refresh. lol. I love this little game system, I'll get one one day.
Depends on the complexity of your game and what you set it to, I saw a few tutorials that used a refresh rate of 60 or 75 fps. So that's pretty good!
(Could be they skip a frame here and there, haven't tested them or anything.)

You should do a new video for best FX games. Castle Boy looks great but I haven't played it yet. Just got mine in the mail today.

I get a throw back and a short flash back to the good ol days.. But how can any person actually play an 8 bit game for an extended period of time in 2018, with all of the crazy tech and gaming rigs we have available.. Like really how much time can you guys spend on one of these without thinking of grabbing a smartphone with 1080p+ resolution.. I get that feeling just watching this video.
Can you put gb games on this or is it just creating and downloading user made games? I bet there are some people who have made exact clones of gb games.

Well i guess arduino is not great for portable consoles. Im thinking of a pocky 32 or a raspberry with an lcd screen in a case or an mp5 for gaming.

@@Letstalkretro Well 2 of those arent even boards thyre just the handheld console already finished. Im just doing research. But i was really curious to see how would the arduino perform for gaming. There is another open source board that is from china the orange pi. Something affordable and open source would be the best.
This is a nice video, but the music you used for the countdown was really droning and grating to me.

Wonder swan is basically like playing a first gen game boy advance. The games still hold up pretty well actually

Ya, not impressed. ...Sorry.
I'm sure that electronics nerds will love this but as for a retro gaming console in this day & age I don't see the point in creating anything sub-NES. And this is coming from someone who had a monochrome computer with no graphics capability. I played text games growing up.
Should have gave it color, more pixels & some better graphics capabilities. These games are to monotonous for me.
