A tip for the fusso coat users if you are also after the gloss enhancement . After 24hrs of curing, i suggest use fusso speed & barrier for gloss enhancement. That will serve as the sacrificial layer as well as prolonging your fusso/sealant wax.
Thank you, sir!
Right ! The Speed and Barrier ist The only and right Detailer for The Fusso Coat.
Getting the applicator damp prior to application makes it easier to spread thinly and remove.
Performs just as good as a ceramic coating for a fraction of the cost and much easier application. I use it all the time in Canada to protect against our salty/Sandy winter roads!
Ahhh I no its great right no faffing about no issues with weather and having to let it cure 24 hours it's perfect. Thanks for watching
Tip for warm climates like here in the Philippines, right after the application on the panel, wipe it off after a minute or two to avoid haze or high spots.
I agree there dude
Will it affect the durability?
@@matiusteddyc.856 Yes, if you're in a tropical and humid country.
I am a totally Fan from Soft 99 Products, The Fusso Coat ist my all time Favoriten, The Paste wax layer and also The F7
Applied soft99 fusso on my black car. Unfortunately after 1 week or so, hazing/clouding appear and stained the paintwork after parked under sunlight. Any idea how to remove the hazing?
This is the best "how to" for Fusso I´ve seen so far! Thank you very much! Subscribed!
Js I'm glad you enjoyed buddy I hope you enjoy my other content
I use Soft99 Fusso Coat as a base wax, with Soft99 MirrorShine as a topper.
For the money, I don't think it can be bettered, although it isn't going to last 12 months, unless you never wash your car.
To be fair, Bilt Hamber double speed wax, is just as hydrophobic, and costs half the price. and lasts 4-5 months. It is a bit sticky to remove though, and doesn't quite give the same gloss.
Mine lasts 10 mths with washing the car twice a month. At the 11th and 12th mth there is still beading but considerably lesser. Probably being in a hot & humid climate helps.
That's great results 👍🏽
That half a turn was the greatest advice!
I can't work out if your being sarcastic or not 😅🤣
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING No it’s not! Really usefull because overapplying is a bitch with Fusso😂
Thank you, borrowed this wax to try and never looked back best wax ive used and used maannyyy.. the cheaper ones are false economy well worth the money
I'm watching this video from London UK. Another absolutely fantastic video. More of these videos PLEASE.
Glad you enjoyed
The finish looks stunning… can’t wait to try mine.
You said to apply in circular motions. I just watched a video from the soft99 channel and they say to apply in cross hatch motion.
It's what ever you prefer I have always done circles I think that is what I like. Go check out my wash and wax video on the bmw I just posted looknat the results from fusso coat
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING I’ll have a look 👍🏽
…..but I was thinking if the finish in the car in this video could be better (it’s already super stunning) by using the recommended cross hatch method then wow!
Detailing is about what you find easier, if crisscross is easier do that. There's no right or wrong way I just find that easyer to 1 get eveb thin layer of coverage and 2 on a light colour like white you know where you beeb as you mayb not see the wax if that makes sense
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING yeah I get that and im glad I’ve seen your video that show the amazing results that can be achieved with the non text book method 👍🏽😎
Damn mate didnt know you had these type of vids, just subbed to this channel almost a year now all i see is you detailing cars with no dialogues and all, you need to bring these back

Amazing video and thank you for sharing 😎 Regards from FL
Your welcome 🙏🏼 thank you for watching don't forget to share with freinds thats might like this wax
😂 deffo been chucking wax on far too thickly. Thanks for the info. One less workout to buff it off in future.
If I apply Soft99 in Year 1, what do I do when re-applying the Soft99 in year 2? Do I have to remove the previous year's coating by polishing? Or do you simply wash the car, decontaminate and panel prep before putting the next application (Year 2) on top of the previous year's (Year 1). Presumably it will bond properly with the previous year's application.
No need to polish unless paint needs it just a good chem decon and you be fine
Many thanks. I live in Canada. I wrote to Fusso EU last week since their website and the video re Soft99 12 Month Wax does NOT include this information. I still have not heard from them. So it is very helpful to have your answer.@@APASSIONFORDETAILING
Great video ! Subscribed. Unfortunatly i just used a polymer sealing yesterday. Can i put this wax on top of the current coating ? Thx
You can do best to a good decon wash then reapply this :) thanks for watching 👍🏽
Got to get some ov this
Great video. Would have this over garage therapy cs3 and sigma V2
Completely different product this will last the longest and will easy stand 6 months plus
Sigma insane gloss and slickness
Cs is very good too but more of a sealant then wax.
They all gave there place
Fusso,Cs sigma in thar order for me
Thanks for the reply. Just one more question if I use fusso coat. Could I use sigma v2 as a topper
@littlejack841 you shouldn't need to a quick detailer will be better
Appreciate the response to the first question. Do you know of any spray sealants for all exterior surfaces than can be used wet and has months of durability??
Thank you.
If you use somthing like a ceramic snow foam or ceramic quick detailer as a drying aid
It’s a great wax that’s for sure, value for money is class!
Hay Alex yes a real power house, what's your favorite wax ?
My favourite for ease of removal is autoglym uhd wax
@@alex_tricker good choice, I was bad In my video it was baking hot outside and the soft99 still came off with ease
Friend of mine loves this stuff, he tops it after every was with Soft99 Fukupika strong type.
Thanks for the comment it really is amazing and the chemical resistance is crazy month n months of protection
Story of the baseball cap you are wearing? I'm from Detroit. Great video.
Not a story as such but I collect hats big raiders fan but I also have many others too.
Freind of mine supply's hats here in uk there all proto types
Want to give Fusso a go. You mentioned in the video that you’d explain what to do if you get the Fusso on plastics. Is this a major problem?
If you do just use some apc or panel wipe to remove it don't let it dry
Can you apply this on glasss and exterior trim?
Amazing video, thanks.
No don't put this on any non painted surfaces
No!!!!!
Great job and tutorial!Thank you.
How many microfiber cloths are needed to wax one car?
Are microfiber cloths reusable after usage, can i wash them and use them again?
4 or 5 thank you for watching :)
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING Thank you for yor answer :)
What about reusing used microfiber cloth after usage? Are they washable or they go to bin :D ?
@bekishaable no you just wash them, only if you use ceramic coating do they go in the bin
Hello Brother Great info about the application❤. I have some questions...
1. I somehow bought the old Fusso formula. And after damping the sponge 🧽 I squeezed most of the water😅 and started waxing, but as I was applying the wax, it started to leave some lumps. I wonder why?
2. And while buffing, it was easy though, but I guess I have buffed a lot with hands which resulted in unevenness 😢. So, I had to ask about "how to properly buff".
I have applied wax as thin as you did. And this was my first application for the wax I bought.
For the first question, "is the fusso coat expired (can it) or I didn't damp well".
By the way, I'm from India 🇮🇳 Mumbai and it is Humid here (does it affect the application)
Hsy brother
I prefer the old fusso coat way better
It will be dur to it being humid dude wash the car that should help if not maybe make sure sponge isn't too wet ?
What a wax who else loves fusso coat ?
Legendary stuff
@@gillywash1487 like a Knight in shining armour
Great video! But if it´s not that glossy, is there a good quick way/product to get the gloss up after applying fusso?
A good quick detailer over the tip will work just fine
Just bought this - I’m new to detailing! Can I use it on the headlights, glass and rims?
It's designed for psint really but wheels would work inc head lights and glass
I need a matt finish recommendations please 🙏
You need a wax for matt finish :) gyeon matt detailer would be best
Can it be used on windsheild?
Great idea but no I wouldn't get glaco for that
Nice vid. I’m looking to use a wax or garage therapy THREE: cs Ceramic Sealant top up with Sigma V2. Would you say the soft99 is better?
Hard choice sigmav2 will give you way more gloss and slickness but wint last as long. Soft99 is so durable but not as glossy or as slick
ive used this product a few years now and its excellent, I find tho I don't have to leave it on for 8 minutes, it sets within seconds and if I leave it on longer, its a nightmare to get off?
Thanks for watching 👍🏽, if it's a nightmare to remove means it been applied to think less is more the thinnest layer is all you need
Hi guys.. i have been applying Fusso first time in my life and i was careful, but anyway i did one mistake... When i was waxing corners, unfortunately i passed through them, it dried and now are little white spots on plastic parts... Can you help me, please, how to deal with it?
A good clean with apc or panel wipe should get it off
How much curing time should I wait to apply poly seal on top of fusso?
You dont need to apply anything on top of this it's strong enough
I reccomend you to spray fusso wax sealant after 2-3 washes, protects the wax and gives shiny effect
Nice little tip there 👍🏽
Should I polish the car before I apply this coating for optimal results?
Not necessary really as long as the paint is clean so a good decon wash and you will be fine
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING brilliant thanks so much for your reply!
Would you say this is still better than gyeon cancoat not sure witch to go for.
2 very different products, this is way easier to apply imo
Why the short piled microfiber towel is scratched safe for the paint and the long pile microfiber towel could scratch the paint while you buff the soft99? The matter is the microfiber towel to be soft. According to my opinion.
I just prefer shorter pile for waxes
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING I find loop pile microfibre best for removing, and twist pile for a final buff.
Hi, do you know celestite grey metallic colour Is dark or light color. Some say light some say dark, or both also can use. Thank
You can use either if u have a grey car go for the dark 1
Could I top this with something like Extreme Solutions Poly Seal? Or could this top the poly seal? Additionally could this be applied with a ultra soft polish pad on a DA?
Imo you dont need to top this with anything you could use somthing every 4 or 5 washes. No by hand is perfect but you could if u wanted
Nice. Im from Brazil and i have this wax too.
Hello Rafael it's very good isn't it. What do you like best about it
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING For sure protection and water repellency.
Is it okey if I use a towel to dry the car or I need an air blower? Also can I just reapply after 4-5 months or I should completely remove the old layer?
A drying towel will be fine a blower isn't really needed just a expensive accessory. Just re apply over the top will be fine you will get wat more then 4 months tho
how do you wash the applicator/sponge after using it? and can it really be used on tyre rims as well?
A little apc with remove it from sponge while it's wet, you can but isn't really designed for wheels buy you will get some protection from it

@dino_mk7537 when you say not happy what do you mean? Wax is wax dude ?
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING ye but i kinda put a very thick layer on it so it was harder for me to wipe it off afterwards...
@@dino_mk7537 give tye car a wash see what its like after that use a detailer as drying aid think everything will be fine
Hello, can it be also used for the plastic parts and headlights? Many thanks for your advise.
Hi Anna no don't apply on any black plastic it will stain it if it's your conventional plastic that you would normally put a dressing on. On other hand it is OK to use on plastic lights or piano black trim
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING thank you! :)
Your welcome 🙏🏼
Hey You, easy to apply ? This is the best paste wax of course, but not easy to apply. Less Wax is better than too much.
Less is more if its thin enough its easy to get off but thin is key
Do you recommend prepping the panels 1st? Stage one/two polish?
It's a wax it's not that important imo
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING Thanks buddy.
@@458steve4 well dude :)
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING just ordered some. lets see how it goes :)
Hi! Why after application it remain? I have try all the methods and not only on black car but same on different car model.
I have try damp sponge with thin layer, dry with thin layer! it's make me crazy! I had to polish again and again to remove the haze left behind. I succeded on one part of the car but don't ask how because I don't know how, finally I gave up!
I let wax to stay also different minutes but same, haze appears...
Can you give me any tip? please
Hi dude you shouldn't get any haze at all I havnt had any issues I assume your using a clean dry towel? Have you tried removing it then with a damp towel go over ?
If you get hazing remove the wax immediately after immediately after applying it to small area. Do not allow it to dry and your problem will go away.
Do you need to clay a car before putting the wax on? I just don’t have all the detailing tools to do that. Thank you so much. This is very helpful
Ana you dont need to clay no. Clay leaves mirror scratches that need machine polishing afterwards. Try chemical decon with an iron remover before whole you wash
If I got fusso 99 and it says for darker colors, is it ok for all paints, or does it work only on dark paints?
Nah will be fine on any colour :)
Quick question, can it be applied after using Autoglym Super Resin Polish or should it be applied alone? I wish to test out both products, but not sure if it will work well or not. Great video btw 👍
Yes you can do this but I wouldnt recommend it as you won't get the durabilty from it as it won't bond as well to the surface. But if that don't bother you then sure can be done
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING Ok, thank you 😁👍
@SD88 your welcome little tip use a good shampoo with no protection in and panel wipe once dry, then apply this very very thin almost so you can't see it you will thank me later :)
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING I have some Bilt hamber touchless and suds heaven from turismo, witch would be best? So I should use carpro eraser or something like that before I use Fusso coat? But that would also remove all of the Autoglym SRP, witch is more of a glaze (filler) then a polish. I should then probably just drop the SRP and just stick to Fusso coat...so hard to chose :) I have heard so much good stuff about SRP, thats why I wanted to test it, but that alone isnt much protection on the paint.
@SD88 touch less as your pre wash. I don't no much about the suds one your talking about is there any protection in it ? If so just go BH, yess somthing like that or garage therapy panel wipe. Fusso has filler in to so you should be good SRP is minor polish really if you look at it like that
Hi, would you use this after every wash?
No not at all you will see months and months of protection, you might want to use a detail spray as a topper to help dry but that's all
Sup Mate I'm from South Africa where can I get thus product please bro 🙏
Soft99 website if not ebay and eveb amazon
Apply cross hatch not circular
Literally makes no difference my freind
May sound like a silly question but do you need to have a damp sponge or dry
No not a silly question at all I prefer a dry sponge you can damp it I found it wouldn't spread thinly when making it damp

Anytime Peter:)
Would you recommend this over the Caramics from Auto Finesse Ceramic Coating (which lasts 12 months)? Thanks
Yes I would whats great is its no fuss and much better value for money
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING thank you very much
@@hp-je1cy your welcome and let me know how you get on with it I think you will be very happy
@@APASSIONFORDETAILINGhi can I please ask if it's a good idea to use this without a garage (I've read there is a 12 hour cure time so thinking what if there was some condensation on the car by the morning)? Thanks
@3945hp there's no need to worry buddy I don't have a garage and I would be happy to apply outside, if it rains say just after you apply you won't have any issues, it's a wax not a ceramic coating. If it only lasts 3 months you just apply it again
Can I protect it with true ceramic coating
You can't put a ceramic on top if this it won't bond
after watched your video, im going to wax my new car for the first time, is there anything to pay attention to?
Well I'm glad I had an impact, little tip a very very thin layer of wax is all you need less is more if you can see thick bits there's to much on the paint. Do two panels at a time not the whole car at once
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING got it! but i dont have the experience in decontamination, does it necessary? since my car is new and havent apply any coating on it
@Derick Ho best thing about a wax is you can apply it when ever where ever so steps really needed as long as paint is clean and free from dirty you be fine
@A Passion For Detailing then i will buy a Ph neutral car wash shampoo to wash it before applying the wax. Thank you for your advice 😀
