As much as we enjoy our truck camper, when the weather is less than ideal and we’re stuck inside, that thing can suddenly become the size of a postage stamp. 😂 We have to go outside and move around to keep from going nuts.
I have to agree, hot summertime isn’t nearly as enjoyable as camping when it’s cool. Not sure about camping in snow though. A campfire, sleeping under quilts, and hot beverages just make it more enjoyable for us.

Always better to be safe than sorry. When I retired, I figured I have nowhere I have to go and all day to get there. Hopefully, you weren't trying to make a destination on a deadline. Fow walking in the snow and ice, get some Yak Trax. They slip over your shoe bottoms and give you real stability. Love your videos. You're not complaining, just giving go info on the experience. Much appreciated.
Great video! I really enjoyed it because you were in familiar territory for me. For over a dozen years before the pandemic, I visited my cousin in Dillon every summer for a couple of weeks. Fished many times at the Browns Bridge campground you were in. Looking forward to other campsites around Dillon before you leave that area. Stay warm and safe travels!

Another fantabulous video guys! What is so enjoyable about watching you is the fact you keep it real and show us the good, the bad and the ugly of life full time in a truck camper! Basically you guys don’t sugarcoat it and you wysiwyg (what you see is what you get) it!
Great call on not venturing any further down that snow covered road. Although the ultimate campsite could have just around the next bend, disaster could have also been there! Better to be safe than sorry in those situations; just like the bridge situation!

Our first month in our new class c was a major snow storm. Epic living ain’t easy but it makes memories like no subdivided life ever could.

Hi, great video. Winter camping is a challenge. Years ago I had a beautiful top of the line 11 1/2 Foot Lance camper with an extended cab over. Fully self contained and had a generator. That camper was so incredible and the quality was insane. Very heavy but it was beautiful. My wife and I now have a 45’ diesel pusher w/4 slides and it’s awesome but I really miss being able to camp in the national forest or parks because it’s too big. I might downsize to a class b self contained van. I enjoyed your video and when I was young, decades ago and grew up in Colorado, I loved the snow and didn’t bother me at all. Night skied which is crazy icy and cold but cold is no longer my friend at my age so I now only camp in the summer. Thanks for sharing and be careful!
Enjoyed this episode... BTW... have you considered a diesel heater for your rig? Inexpensive, economical to operate, dry heat... set up under $200....

That' time of winter between Dillion and Pocatello tends to be pretty cold driving. Careful for icy roads. I would head down south to AZ where we are in the high 70's this week and probably into next week! 😎 In the 'Valley of the Sun' of course. There's SO much to do and see around here this time of year! I follow several other YT channels who are currently down here exploring our great state 48 and I am completely enjoying their vlogs. Come on down, thaw out from those frigid MT temps and have a great margarita and some good AZ Mexican food! Stay warm and safe!
