The fact Hayden and Ewan still have their chemistry, to the point they can even make a bad interview insanely entertaining, is great to me.
Love how much Hayden sounds like Matt Lanter these days, the deeper voice he's gotten, and Matt can of course always imitate Hayden's voice if he wants. I remember like half a line in the Mortis arc, where Matt sounded exactly like Hayden.

I think we forget that the actors aren’t necessarily superfans of Star Wars like most of us are, so it’s weird to hear them get stumped on basic questions

I mean I'm sure Hayden knows some things like from clone wars and what not. And ewan got alot of the answers right and I believe him when he talks about the Shakespeare play thing.
There are so many planets in the Star Wars universe that I’d consider the Jabbas Palace question a toughy. You may know exactly what the planet looks like but can’t remember the name and so on. They did a pretty good job on answering the questions and even disagreed with the Shakespeare one. If only she asked who Anakin’s padawan was.
But is a way to get them involved with their work. Actors picks up stuff from their roles even do they might not actually remember the main stuff. Many Actors also get ask question about when they play Doctors, Lawyers, Police Officers, etc.

@4:21 Hayden says there is no H in Leia. If anyone recalls, many years ago when ROTS was coming out, Hayden did an interview on live TV and was asked to spell Leia and he put an H in there accidentally. He learned not to make that mistake again😂

I've always had a soft spot for the prequels and now the new trilogy is over I agree people appreciate 1 2 and 3
People knew at the time. This revisionist BS like they weren't some of the most popular movies of all time is absurd. I worked in a comic shop when they came out. The fans loved those movies. Guys watching them 7 times even though they were only in the theater for like a month.
I still don't think much of "Menace" but I've come to like "Clones" and (especially) "Sith". At least the prequels had something to say and an interesting story to tell. The sequels just felt like three movies churned out to a shareholders' schedule.

Growing up, I always had a soft spot for the prequels too, even if they were a little goofy at times. Ewan and Hayden were my favorites.
Hayden's voice is so different now! And he seems so humble and warm, love seeing him and Ewan doing these together 💕

This was just too cool!!!!! Hayden is always super chill so to watch him take part with the breathing is definitely over the top amazing for me. That said I liken him playing darth vader to "PASSION OF THE CHRIST". He was the true sacrificial lamb and had to bear the burden of playing out Vaders story in a time where fans weren't ready for anyone to make anything. And it took everyone at least 10 years to be ok with it. to accept him. And realize that the prequels was in fact an uncomfortable tale of tragedy. I have so much respect for him and his sacrafice for this roll. its' good to see him back.
Im so glad they are finally receiving the love of the fans that grew up with the prequels loving these two it just makes my heart happy!
When the prequels came out I didn't like how vibrant everything was compared to the originals but they were obviously set in a different time before the sith took control of the galaxy and ive have come to love them. Imagine we got a series like clone wars set in between 2 and 3. I reckon Hayden and Ewan could still pull it off age wise.
It's not that it's a different time. It's different places. The original is set on out outskirts of society and focuses on the military, while the prequels focus more on civilians in populated areas.

The prequels were very politically charged. We saw everything, from the senate, to the people. Clone wars expanded heavily on this too.
Then the original trilogy, it was pretty much a full coverage of the war from the rebels side.

I've seen the first 2 shows. I enjoyed Ewan as Obi-Wan + Jimmy Smits as Bail again. But the best thing so far is seeing Ewan + Hayden on these promo shows. They come across as real bro's who are havin' a blast + it's good to see that the Prequel's are getting some positive acknowledgment now. I watched TPM the other day, it's an experimental but good film + the PT as a whole is full of sound mythology. : )
