I don't think it's a spoiler to say that there's no such thing as (actual) dark elves in the Dungeon Meshi universe - the elf from the painting just happens to have brown skin!

Lol I didn’t say it because of the skin color. It just happened to cross my mind since I said that same thing about Marcille, and then Chilchuck said the same thing about her.. I just assumed that the one from the painting actually was one.

We love Farcille ship! We have heard that is more of a fan made rumor than an actual thing in the manga.. but they make it look like there is something between these 2.

From what I understand the manga ends without any confirmed romances between the main cast, like it just wasn't a focus for the author, but it has teases that led to Farcille came out as the most popular ship among the fandom. (Which I find neat since normally the default is male lead/female lead.)

went from laid back camping to Full Metal Alchemist real fast huh? Anyway blood was used as a catalyst, but it's not blood magic. It's ancient magic that was dubbed "black" for unknown reasons. Maybe it has the same origin as the rune mr. Tansu was researching on? (old fantasy trope I know)

Kensuke’s reaction to Falin was that a stranger was holding it. It’s accustomed to Laios, and it saw her trying to poke at it. It likely would have jumped around more as soon as the resurrection was done, if it took actual issue with her.
Also, Falin was speaking with a spirit, having string empathy(?) for them.
Also, congrats!
Mmmm that’s right, it actually makes sense. I am glad that Falin is not a threat.. at least not yet.

I really love this anime! Things get do kinda dark from this point forward, especially if they start exploring their backstories. This story does give me that creepy feeling at times but still love it.

In some of the music in this episode, especially before Marcille cast the resurrection spell, it almost sounds like it was from Chrono Trigger. You can really tell it was written by Yasunori Mitsuda!
