What's more heartbreaking is that at the end, they're heading deeper into the dungeon by themselves. For the time being, they're all alone.

I can only imagine how hard it will be for them! They never got to fully resupply and I cant see Marcille having full Mana right now. Things are looking bleak.
I saw that Farcille polite grimace gaze as Shuro explained his love for Falin XD and to further feed the Farcille tinted lenses, did you notice that Falin was originally fighting the ninjas who were attacking the harpies, but once Marcille called out to Falin, Falin's eyes widened, and she was very excited to jump down with a pleased expression. It almost seemed like she had recognised the team and were pleased to see them, only to get jumped on by the other players. Ultimately, despite her bloodthirsty carnage, she never laid a hand (or claw) on her own team. It felt like Laios stabbing her foot was the final blow to her realising she wasn't safe there anymore before taking off in hurt fury.
We didn’t notice that! But i really hope Falin is still somewhere inside that body! And based on what you said, it looks like she is.

In the end, Chimera Falin only hurt / killed people she didn't know, she left everyone from her former party alive and uninjured. The spike attack definitely was her last resort and an act of desperation because she was very wounded, in pain, scared and fled after all. There's clearly some humanity left in her, I doubt that her calling out her brother was a trick by the dragon, it was probably actually her, just like how she reacted to Kuro, the dog person / kobold, she picked him up and didn't want to hurt him at first, because for all that she knew, he looked just like a dog to her and we knew from the flashback in the dragon fight episode, that she was very excited to meet the "talking dogs" in the desert. The dragon is certainly mixed into her and carrying out his task, he's driving her most of the time, but noticing these efforts made by Falin and not the dragon, as best as she can, is severely heartbreaking.
I thought so!! She did not want to injure her former party. I hope it was actually her and not a trick from the dragon. I was curious as to why she froze while lifting Kuro on the air and that makes much more sense now. I feel bad for her, I just want her to be okay! Do you think she was in control leaving the area? Or do you think that was the mad mages doing?
To be fair... nobody from her former party attacked her, only the others. So that's probably the main reason she didn't injure any of them. She did look like she was ready to kill Laios after he dropped his sword and waddled towards her.
But still, I do agree that there was still humanity left in her.

Laios attacked her to save Kabru! And afterwards falin still only attacked Kabru, literally snatching him out of laios’s hands while still not hurting Laios. So I think the point of her never attacking her party still stands
It's really funny that Kabru's tragic backstory was shown to us very briefly, as a part of a joke. Btw, don't worry if you didn't notice it, it will be elaborated on later
Yeah the trajedy of his life is a 3 second fast cut. Looks like monsters that escaped a dungeon ate his family.

19:00 I'd say her abilities are a bit more "balanced", in game terms, than the red dragon. The red dragon was bigger, tougher and had thicker scales cover his entire body. Chimera Falin trades some of that roughness for more agility and ability to cast powerful magic.
True!! They did have a bit more time to prep for the dragon but they also did not have three parties helping the fight. They probably are very close in power. Chimera Falin is such a badass/scary monster! - Andrew
1:26 chilchuck knows that shuro has a crush on falin, so he knows that shuro will be upset if you tell him about the black magic. laios didnt notice that and he thought that they're friends, so he didnt mind telling shuro the truth
also about falin, i think it's more like because the mad mage put a spell in the red dragon's soul, to prevent it to be used for something else other than doing the mission given by the mad mage. i wonder if falin was revived by other monster/meat, things would have gone differently 🤔

Maybe if they actually got meat from the outside she would have been revived normally. I feel like if it was any meat from inside the dungeon it could have had a similar result.

You seem to be mistaken in one thing. Marcille caused falin's soul to mix with the dragon when she used that dark magic spell. The magician changed her body for something more appropriate. But the whole dragon mixup was marcille's fault.
It's a fault that she didn't think would happened. She deducted that animals and monsters soul must've not tied to the dungeon like human soul does since it would tip the balance of the dungeon ecosystem. So she uses dragon meat as body substitute thinking only the flesh would live on as falin's. Unfortunately it's a miscalculation similar to laios's falsely predicting the time taken for falin to be digested.
Both of them miscalculated because they missed to understand another factor to be taken accounted in, the mad mage's ability to control everything in the dungeon

Yes, if Marcille hadn’t used the dragons meat things may have turned for the better. Another commenter mentioned if they had used other meat would things have turned out differently, what do you think?
@@nstorm2415 no it's a completely valid rebuttal. There is no other way, She didn't know, she didn't turn Falin into chimera, Thistle did.
Let's say you're a door man and the way out of the room is to open it. It's not your fault that the landlord didn't tell you that if you open the door then your coworker would get trapped instead.
Laios wasn't just being nice to Kabru, his team's sacrifices helped him learn some non spoiler very important things.
Has she been eating regular meals and sleeping or, like Shuro, is she starving and exhausted? Seeing her in action, Laios deduces the latter.
She also has a dragon sized body but not a dragon's mouth, so she must need to spend a lot of time eating and catching her breath. Whether the mad mage will let her is another question

Also Falin's definitely stronger, the red dragon died to 4 adventurers, Falin took out 7 and injured a few more and she got away.
We were not expecting it to turn into this at all! It started out so light hearted lol! You’re right, chimera could be stronger although they did have more prep time for the dragon (not much prep though). It seems like Falin has less weak points than the dragon as well which helps her more! I feel so bad for her, I just want her to be okay! - Andrew
It's (she?) a mix of red dragon AND Falin, so its definitely twice as strong now. Its smart and can use magic.
Her weakness will be revealed soon enough though and you'll never (in a million years) guess what it is. 😆
But for the next episodes though, one of them (hopefully the next one) is the introduction of *_that_* party.
