As someone on the autistic spectrum I really enjoy all the little ways that Laios is portrayed as being autistic. One of my fave moments and the one that made me especially happy was when Laios didnt realise that Shuro found him wierd.
@@BG-Reactions the way he struggles to understand stuff like social queues and the way he has a hyperfixation on a specific subject, in his case monsters, are the 2 big things that give me that feeling. And what I like about dungeon meshis handling of it is he still feels human. So many shows default to "oh, autistic person? basically a robot made of flesh" when it comes to writing, see sheldong from the big bang theory for one of the biggest examples of that
Wow I did not even think of Laios being Autistic but it completely makes sense! I have two brothers with Autism, my younger brother is fixated with music and loves concerts on TV and my older brother is fixated with heavy machinery like dump trucks and trains. Thank you for making that link, it makes me appreciate the show that much more. There is not enough autistic representation in shows and if they do, it is not done right usually. - Andrew
Ryo made an extra chapter where she explained the "source" of these imposters. Here are some of the more interesting ones. Marcille's: Squidwart faced one is Senshi's. Most dwarves are racist towards elves, and some of these opinions rubbed off on him "Cool" one is Laois'. He was really impressed by the ancient magic stuff. Also, the reason she had a passing looking magic book is because Laois was learning magic from it. Senshi: Handsome one is Chilchuk's. Half-foots find dwarves hot. Yes, that's a real explanation. Laois: Giant one is Marcille's. She spent her youth in a girls only magic school and had little to no idea how human men looked like. From talking with Falin she assumed he looked almost identical to her, so their first meeting was a shock for her
Chilchuck’s handsome senshi is fantastic but my personal fave is Laios’ Marcille. If I remember right, the reason for her looking so serious was because the way she looked when she revived Falin was really impactful for Laios, so that’s how he sees her now. Peak angst material

Femboy Laios is Senshi, because Dwarves see Tall-men(humans) as exceptionally feminine. As for the Chilchucks, Marcille and Senshi both infantilize Chilchuck, but Senshi *legitimately* believes him to be a child, hence the toy-like goofy lockpicking tools, meanwhile Marcille just thinks he's like, teenage(relatively) or so
