Wow! You really made me to buy one of this, then I slap my head and told my self that I have no idea how to operate this. Great vedio man. You should be in teaching line, well why not make some educational videos as how to operate this machine. Excellent jod and thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the video - the assembly is really nice. I'm getting my LM3 tomorrow and will be following your video for assembly. One point, when you "engraved" the metal it looks like you used paint rather than engraving the metal itself. It was my understanding this laser would actually engrave metal rather than using the paint.
I used a black marker pen but then I did some testing and on full power plus low speed it will engrave steel without marker pen(not all types tho)

You will have full explanation of the lights in the manual, what they mean etc.
Can I leave the attachment for the air assist at the bottom of the laser always on, even when not using AirAssist like when engraving? Or should I remove that attachment when Air is not used?
leave it , don't remove it
can it cut on clear/transparent acrylic sheets? or at least with the paper masking?
It should cut through acrylic but not sure how it would perform on a transparent one🤔
Hey! I just finished assembling and the laser only goes side to side and not up or down. What did I do wrong ?
Not connected the wires correctly for the y motor
The engraving on the metal is that on the surface or did it go in to the metal
It wnet into the metal, you can clearly feel that under your fingers.
They now have holes for clip ties for the cables

How long did the photo take to complete?
Oh can't remember exactly now think it was about 9 minutes

It seems it is. Not sure if much better than the Master 2 Pro I already got. Need some testing and time with it to see if its worth getting over much cheaper Master 2 Pro
What is yrr vs y-motor?
Its for a rotary roller attachment so you can engrave round objects like mugs etc
what does the software look like? Its the most important thing….. does it run on a mac?
LaserRGBL and Lightburn. Not sure about mac as I don't have one sorry.
@@CasualDIY ok found out what's what, yes available on a mac, Ive just bought the Ortur 2 Pro which is still in its box , will see what it does….. my wife rolled her eyes and said "NOT another boys toy!"
