Thanks for making this so fast! Finally ordered a 5x-10x-15x loupe from Amazon. Found your old video for breaking out a slab... this one was much smoother! 😄
Awesome tips man! I hope people follow your shipping etiquette tips! Drives me crazy if my cards are just thrown into a bubble mailer without a top loader or and cardboard
Jesus Nolan I was on the edge of my seat watching you snap that Luck.... My heart dropped man I'm screaming at my phone Nooooo! plz don't do it.... Great vid buddy
lol. i know it looks crazy. I would not do it unless i was confident I would not hurt the card. I experimented years ago on $5 & $10 cards to perfect the process.
Love your videos! I have a few Topps sets from the early seventies. Would you get everyone graded or just hall of famers? And what would you do with the Ines that have dinged corners etc? Thanks again for all your help.
In my very short career of submitting cards I have come to the conclusion that eye appeal aka CENTERING is paramount and then the corners, surface and edges then the back can have a little lee way. Correct me if I'm wrong. Close maybe?
You are correct on this Jay in my opinion. Centering plays a pivotal role in the eye appeal. Then I would say Corners, surface then edges. Let's also consider that any flaws on the back of the card do not detract the same as flaws on the front of the card.
Agreed! Whenever I pick up a card, the very first thing I look at is the centering. However, I have slid through with some off centering, but very seldom. You are very correct good tidbit of information!
Do you think PSA should put all cards in sleeves in their cases like BGS? I like PSA cases and grading integrity more but it worries me that the cards move around in the case without a sleeve. I do have a couple die-cuts that are graded PSA and they used sleeves on those but not for anything else. What are your thoughts?
@Eliteco3 - Appreciate the video! I am prepping my first order for PSA. I do see a scratch or two on a few cards but they are hard to see unless under the light. The corners and centering are great as they are modern cards. Do you see these cards getting a 9?
My hands tremor a bit, so I hate putting cards into sleeves. Do you think using magnet cases is okay for submissions? Should I use some tape at the top to secure the case before sending in a bubble envelope? thanks!
I sell various collectibles online & have about 15,000+ sport & non sport cards. It seems that graded cards can sell for more than non-graded cards (Please correct me if I'm wrong) My Question is do collectors have a preference about who grades them- PSA or Beckett? I know some cards aren't worth having graded due to condition or that its a common/shredder. Any information or opinions from you or your viewers would be SO helpful!
is there any chance in the near future you could make a vid on how to use ebay to your full advantage or make a short vid on how to set up 1 of those listings
How long have you been collecting cards...seems you haven't learned from your mistakes of the past....old knowledge seems to be something you never collected.
Thanks for the tips! First time seeing a slab busted open and my god is it terrifying!
Thank you for the important info!
Thanks for posting this man! Excellent information.
your welcome hitman23

Yes, seth you could even pull a 10 if the scratch is very very small and on the back of the card. PSA is all about overall eye appeal.

thanks!
thanks man. is there any difference to breaking a bccg case? will the cut down the middle work? I gotta rookie Kershaw im trying to free.
same thing for bccg cases right down the middle, strong pliers, and lots of force as well
Eliteco3 thanks im gonna try it later tonight, hope it goes well
any chance you have a PSA or BGS auto of derek carr?

cool vid and very informative, has anyone ever told you you look like a younger slimmer jeff saturday
Ha. the colts offensive lineman
he was a 6 time probowl o-line man for the colts in the late 90s and 2000s he is also an espn nfl anaylist
yes, i have never heard that but I could see it a little
Why are you breaking those high rated PSA card slabs? Surely not just to demonstrate. Are you thinking of having them rerated? Thanks!
u are good 👊💪👊
ha thanks Jack
God damn you handle your cards roughly. By contrast I handle all of my raw cards with kid gloves…
Hey you should do more box breaks please
i actually ordered a case of 17 elite FB. It should be in tomorrow.
Eliteco3 alright man thanks a lot
on ebay how do you make a listing where it is a list of individually priced cards in 1 listing
yes called a variation listing probably the best secret to listing on ebay out there.
is there any chance in the near future you could make a vid on how to use ebay to your full advantage or make a short vid on how to set up 1 of those listings
i could do a video on it this week
thanks
YO ELITECO! Are you going to the National?
ya steve, let me know if you are? Me and easternct have some drinks with you
Eliteco3 I will be there! Sounds like a plan.
10:25 holding my breath!!!!!
That method you use to snap PSA cases doesn't look safe for the surface of the card.
it is safe doesn't hurt the surface. It's controlled chaos
How long have you been collecting cards...seems you haven't learned from your mistakes of the past....old knowledge seems to be something you never collected.
It’s ok to ship junky cards without team bags.
Bank in Bank of America $BAC
Throw that money away on grading cards.
