- Spanish Harlem - Fingerstyle Guitar - Michael Chapdelaine
Here's the link for the CD with this and the other 14 tracks that I recorded on this and the other two Somogyi guitars. It's a great CD and you can actually compare the guitars from track to track:

Strings by D'Addario
Wow! It was that kind of theatrical performance.
The beautiful!
Everything about this is incredibly beautiful. The emotion that you put into this song makes the biggest difference. A guitar as beautiful as the one you're playing on was only created to have an equally beautiful song played on it. You're a very talented man. You're music has helped me overcome endless amounts of stress and family issues. Keep it up, thanks!
Che musica ... Bravo!!!
Simply beautiful!
Just Wow!
A beautiful, rich arrangement played with great warmth. Thank you for this.
Bravoooooo !!!
So beautiful ... A great performance , congratulations !
it is exquisite in its own way
you have a special talent Mike. i can feel what you play and the bass and constant flow is what makes you one of the best IMO. thanks man!
Stunning flawless`arrangement of this beautiful tune, it is exquisite! Thanks so much`for posting this.
Beautiful guitar!! And fancy that, you're awesome as usual!
Woow!
Beautiful rendition of a beautiful classic.
great playing , makes being in lockdown tolerable ,stay safe ,keep posting these ,as they are incrediable, all the best
That base run is outstanding.
What a stunningly beautiful guitar... also very nicely played. like!
Yes, and yes! Great!
Bravo, Michael!!
Brilliant Michael! Way to go....
Thank you Michael. You just won my Wednesday already. =)
The Somogyi sounds exquisite, just as your playing! Not that I should have expected anything else. Which soundboard is on this guitar out of interest? It seems like the Sitka to me but I could be wrong!
Fantabulous MC. I do think the song by OMC - How Bizarre used parts of this back in 96.
Awesome! Amazing! 👏👏👏👏👏
I love your playing! You've got the gift!
Fantastic!
beautiful
Wonderful
Jeez, I thought there were soft bongos being played in the opening and then I though well he has a drum track or is playing with someone. To my surprise it later occurred to me that he is playing the muted bass strings. A very nice and delicate performance, despite the slapping and tapping. Capture the mystical center or the rhythm and everything else falls into place.
Blind Eye Jones Thanks so much Blind Eye!
Your last sentence is perhaps the greatest truth of playing solo. And a very difficult path for those of us who didn't come out of the box with good time. Lot's of metronome time. Of course, once you have that pocket of groove, you are free to mess with time. Bit of a Zen koan, I think.
I like this
Cool. I miss the opening percussion from your video of this tune :-)
Great job! Hats off! Cigar awarded)))
Great as always, and as you stated in one of your replies a lot of metronome practice and work. Hope one day I can play at least 1/4 of the good you do. By the mean time I have to keep practicing.
You are missed…
Whoooo 😵👏🏽
OMG, i really want to have your guitar, Sir.
is there any chance of getting a tab of this arrangement. oh no matter
changed my mind just watching mike play is a great lesson in and of itself
he gives so much detail ,and theres no need to copy slavishly i guess
What happened to the badass percussive intro :(
No matter i guess, still awesome.
Superb rendition, as always by you. Was this guitar sitka or Euro spruce?
Robert Dell Thanks Robert: it's Sitka.
I am very sorry if there were such questions, but...don't you want to play something with Tommy Emmanuel? Is there any possibility to do such a great performance?
P.S, Really love your perfomances!
Денис Якушев thanks so much. I have played with Tommy E. I's always a gas and a great honor. We just don't cross paths very often.
he is very special, though!
wish you would share tab
Michael, which top did you prefer the most? I'd love to compare this guitar to the cedar-topped guitar.
Porsche997C4S1 All in good time Porsche. At this point, i am thinking that I will make a movie about this whole project. All the answers and comparison that you are interested in will be the power curve of the film.
I shall wait patiently. 😃
Hello sir. I am looking for the sheet music For this song, gutair or piano. All of the sheet music I find doesn't sound right. Do you know where I could find any?
You can get my arrangement here: www.musicnotes.com/search/go?w=chapdelaine&from=header
