Got in labor with my second daughter at 1am but didn’t know it, had just this weird pain like menstruation pain. But started to poop myself out… first sign…. When I called hospital 3hours later to make sure it is not sign to go to hospital they insured me that this was not enough to come in. So took some painkillers and took a long shower. Still having this pain… once out of the shower my water broke ! So jumped to the car, but still no contractions. 3 mins later in the car I got my first contaction! Gosh! Didn’t make it to my hospital but another one on the way! Didn’t count red lights we missed 😂 When we got there they informed me I was opened by 10 saying: put yourself behind on the couch we will start pushing right away 😂 naturally without medical assistance… ok then! She came on the world 50 mins later after my water broke. This was 3 months ago, she is so beautiful and growing sooo fast 🥰
Hope my labor is this easy in a few weeks
@@nishahaymond6711 Wish you that! 🫠
Aww 🥰 congratulations
I had my baby! My labor was 5 hours. I woke up at 3 am thinking I was having intense gas pain. Made it to the hospital at 5:15am. Was checked at 5:30 and I was at 8cm. I begged for meds and they said they would give them to me when we got to labor room. Made it to the labor room 10 minutes later and I was at 10 cm and it was too late for the meds. I pushed for a long time though but the pushing gave me relief from those horrible contractions. My baby will be 2 days old soon. Hehe.
@@nishahaymond6711 congratulations! You see it was your wish that came true 😍hope you and your baby r ok!
Before labor, I had never had a contraction but I was very very tired the days before. My water broke at 4:30 pm on 9/13/23 and my contractions were immediately coming at 5 minutes apart and got more intense pretty quickly. By the time I was admitted to the hospital, I was at 3 minutes apart. Contractions stayed this way throughout labor. I was in labor 13 hours but only push for 15 minutes. No tearing, no complications, we went home the next day. My beautiful baby girl is healthy and perfect in every way. It’s a love I’ve never experienced before.
No tear omg tell me how that happen! And helps with im at &15 weeks pregnant but going into labor august 17th
@@anniexiong8378 it helps that my daughter was only 6.5lbs! I did a lot of yoga in the last trimester, too. I feel like there is only so much you can do to prevent tearing though - there are so many videos with advice on the subject, but I’m not sure if those things actually work. I went nuts researching because it was my first baby and I was so scared 😂. Also, listen to your body - the doctor wanted to induce me before my due date (not for any medical reason, it was “for my comfort”) and I declined against my doctor’s advice. I went for a checkup the next day and I ended up going in to labor as soon as I got home from that appointment. The odds of a healthy, natural birth are more likely than any complications. I know it’s hard not having control over any of it but you will do great and you’ll be so proud of yourself and wonder how you did it.
Did it hurt
@@anniexiong8378what helped me..perineal massages and side lying position when pushing. Not only I didn’t tear but I didn’t feel any pain while pushing. Some pressure but not pain. You dont feel contractions while pushing and I thought I would feel this ring of fire everyone talks about but in the side lying position all I felt was pressure not pain.
@@anniexiong8378I've heard your can eat dates, drink raspberry leaf tea and do exercises to ease the labor ❤

37 weeks and 1 day today. I have been watching your week by week pregnancy videos since the moment I learned I was pregnant at 6 weeks. Im so over this lol cant wait to meet our baby girl. So far the worst pregnancy moment for me is having the puppp rash and the swollen feet. It's so uncomfy. My tummy is getting heavier and bigger now and theres few more days left I know and Im so over it. Haha. Safe pregnancy to all expecting mothers.😊
Hang in there. You are almost there
I had pupp with my first child and it was hell.
I have pupps rash as well with my 1st pregnancy hanging there, they should dissapeared 4weeks after giving birth.
Ameen.thanks

Hi am 36 weeks in 3 days currently in Kenya and I am so happy to have subscribed to this channel its gives me good tips.. Thank you
Due at the end of October and this was timely! Something I didn’t think about for immediate post delivery was birth control options. I was on the pill before my husband and I started trying. And I have an appointment with my midwife next week so I will definitely be asking her about options and what she recommends since I plan to breastfeed! Thanks for the tips!
I've been watching your videos since I was 6 weeks and now im 6 months, you are more helpful than the woman in my family and the obgyn specialists I have to be paying, I wanted to thank you so much for these videos!❤

Hi Diana, I’m currently 33 weeks and 2 days and I still haven’t had anything settled for the hospital. But I’m happy to hear anything infos from you.
23 weeks along with my first baby! This is being an exciting journey and I love it❤ a little nervous about labor but super happy🎉🎉
Love your videos! thank you for all your weekly advice
I wish I had found you sooner! I’m 36+3 weeks today, and slowly but surely, I’m feeling more prepared for the arrival of our first baby because of helpful information like this! We live in Canada in a city with one children’s hospital, so no issues with wondering where we will go or insurance (birth is covered by universal healthcare). I didn’t know you could get certain birth controls at the time of delivery, I’ll be asking my doctor about that!
I love your channel. I’m 28 wks pregnant It is a 13 yr gap between this pregnancy & my daughter. I had a c-section with her & had to put to sleep so I have no memory of the delivery process. This is so helpful!!

40 weeks and 1 day. Getting induced on Tuesday. Thank you for all of your videos, they have helped so much in my pregnancy. ❤️
Did you ask for get induced at your last appointment?
Please don't circumcise your baby it's unnecessary and traumatic. This is just recently started and it's not evidence-based medicine. It's pseudoscience and harmful which will be looked down on in the future.
Good luck hun hope all goes well ! 🙏🏼❤️
37+3 and getting induced tuesday night at 38 weeks :p
Hope it went well today 😇
I’m 31 weeks pregnant with baby boy, first time mom! I’m am so excited and also very anxious! I live in Ohio!

34 weeks and 3 days here, baby number 2! After trying for 9 years, having PCOS and then dealing with endometrial hyperplasia with atypia with biopsies and treatments and after 2 negative biopsies I stopped megace and took ovasense and few months later became pregnant. We honestly thought it would never happen again and that I'd get a hystectomy...we had one more chance an God blessed us! Your videos have been part of my journey since around 6 weeks pregnant!
Hello Diana, I am watching from Zambia and I am a first time Mum currently 36weeks. Thank you so much for this video it was very helpful

Exactly 30 weeks today! Thank u for the info❤
Gave birth a month ago. I'm surprised and happy it was an easy birth. Epidural is amazing 👏. No tearing, stomach back to normal, minimal pain and discomfort post part um. She was born 5ibs 9oz. Hope my second will be similar
Wow congrats 🥰🥰🥰
Thank God for you. Please do you in anyway have early morning sick? And is this ur first child? Please want to know because am pregnant too
@@lydiacleonard3529 congrats momma! Yep, nauseous for maybe like 2 months. Didn't throw up but lost some weight which is normal. Cereal and jello was mostly what I could eat. This is my first child
So how was epidural? I am due in 15days. Everything is normal and my ob people are insisting me with normal delivery. I will be for taking taking epidural, just wanted to know how’s the experience ? Is it painful ??? And honestly more than pain I am scared with episiotomy. Thanks
@@shrutishinde9124 first off, congrats to you mama! Those 15 days will go by so fast. Do what you think you'll be comfortable with. Getting the actual epidural was more of a discomfort than actual pain for me when being injected. Afterwards, the only thing I felt were the contractions and when it came time to push, I didn't feel anything. Had to remind myself how to push cause I didn't know if I actually was. I didn't have an episiotomy but since the waist down is numb, you shouldn't feel much if done properly. It's the postpartum care that gets exhausting but not impossible. If you do get an episiotomy, I've highly heard of sitz baths being amazing. You got this! 💪
Do lots of research from all points of view :) I've had hospital and home births and knowing what you want and don't want are SO important and what's even more important is making sure your husband/partner is on the same page and willing to speak up for you when you obviously have your mind somewhere else. Not everything is necessary and usually A LOT of things are an option and not required.
I am 23 weeks and 4 days and can’t wait to meet our baby girl in July!
23 weeks tomorrow!! First baby and our rainbow baby ❤
Hi Diana
I am 30 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby. I have 2 older boys 10 and 8 and this one is a girl! So 😊 I love love love your channel ❤️
I am in central California
I’m currently 12weeks pregnant and I need to switch OB due to the delivery hospital issue. This video was great 💖
I am week 19 of the pregnancy 🤰 this is my first baby. I always scared because it is my first baby but your week by week help me a lot to learn. Thank you 🙏 for being helpful. Also I need a lot help in my baby.
I am 36 1/2 weeks. Due September 5th! Can’t wait! Our second girl ❤️
Thank you so much for the information. I am currently in my 38 weeks and curious to all these information and thank you for sharing !! 😊🙏🏻
Oh wow this was apploaded pretty recently. I’m currently 38w6d and I’m very thankful for your videos. Hopefully baby is coming soon although I don’t have any soft signs of labor yet:(
I am 28 years old and I am a RN but terrified of the birthing experience. I have seen it many times but I am scared of the pain, thank you for the information, hopefully I become pregnant in the next year. 🙂
I am currently 34 weeks pregnant :)
In Portugal, besides having public hospitals where you can deliver your baby safely you have the option to go to a private hospital if you have insurance or the money to pay for it, the difference in the private sector is basically in the “non basic care” such as, the fact that the father can sleep at the hospital or that you have a room and a bathroom to yourself for instance. If there is a serious complication or if you deliver before 32 weeks you will most likely be having the baby in a public hospital unless there is no time to do so.
Regarding the delivery I think the procedures are pretty similar with the exception of the eye antibiotics which we do not do as a routine.
Thank you for videos!
Wish all the other pregnant women the best 🙏
28 weeks tomorrow, my third child and I cannot wait.
Getting induced on the 15 of this month .. first baby so I'm nervous and also praying 🙏 for a safe delivery and healthy baby
Hello! I am 20 weeks pregnant and getting information to have the best experience possible, thank you for your advices :).
This was nice and efficient! I don't have kids and have not been pregnant.
Today I learnt the difference between spinal and epidural. And the terms effacement and station.
I was hoping to see more on the lighter pain relief options, and more about the nitry gritty of giving birth, and the decision points that could arise during delivery.
I've been watching your videos since I found out I was pregnant. And I was 6 weeks and I am now 12 weeks! Your videos are very powerfulz scary, and so amazing 🤩
I'm 22 weeks pregnant. I am planning a home birth in Arizona, but I have a OBGYN that I go to for prenatal care. She would deliver my baby at the hospital if I need to transfer. She is nice and supportive of me having a home birth. ❤
37 weeks +3 today! My baby shower is tomorrow. My feet are swollen and everything hurts. Wish me luck through this social interaction 😅 I am horribly anxious about it.
You got this! Make sure to get a nap in right before if possible 😁
This is my fear. I’m only 21 weeks and not looking forward to a bb shower haha
A little shower update:
The swelling got way worse and everyone freaked out at the end and told me to get my blood pressure checked. I ended up at labor and delivery for monitoring. They gave me fluids, did a bunch of labs and everything is okay. I was having some contractions while there but my cervix is totally closed so they sent me home. What a day!
did you see in ultrasound that baby is girl or boy?
