What a nice month! Thank you for sharing.
Those figures are wonderful to hear. You've got this!
Why would you recommend HL over say the trading 212 Stock and Shares ISA? (Love your content!)
I just find the platform better ☺️
Thanks for sharing, always interesting to see how your shares are doing, ads watched 👍❤️.
Excellent month. Well done Nicola
I made my very first dividend income of 3 pence from Apple 🎉. You have got to start somewhere.
Great month 👍
Wow these are good results! Do you just own one share or invest the same amount for each company or does it vary?
It varies ☺️
Great month, indeed. Here's to more months like this :).
Absolutely ☺️
❤
Thanks, always interesting to seem Would be great to also see the amount invested and yield percentage too
Thanks for sharing Nicola. Please can you update (or let someone else) update the MSE save £12k in 2023?
That’s amazing! I invested already a little into Lloyd’s and abdn last month but I’m going to do some research into Aviva. Once again great video and congrats on your income this month!
Would be good to see a year on year comparison. What you made for last 3 years dividends in separate columns
I have that on my spreadsheet - I can definitely share that next time!
Months like these are a great reminder of the power of dividend stocks. It's reassuring to see those regular payments hitting your account, even during uncertain times.
What a great month for dividend income. Would be really interesting to see how many shares you hold in each company and/or how much those holdings have cost, but do understand that’s very personal. Love your channel ❤
Once it’s all sorted and mine, I will do an updated video on this ☺️
Nicola is going to have to get a better pair job. You need to be able to invest more money.
Can you give any advise on how to get started with this? Really interested but no idea where to start x
I’ve got lots of investing videos here ☺️
Always love to see these videos Nicola. May has been my best ever month, with just over £280 of dividend income (my previous best was around £207 in August 2022) - I happen to have Lloyds Bank as well in my S&S ISA as I used to work there a long time ago and they are a good dividend payer, I picked up £45.60 which is pretty good for having just shy of £1200 in it as a holding. They are one of only 3 individual company shares in my S&S ISA though, the others being Persimmon (share price has gone down a lot since August 2020 when I first bought in but decent dividend payer) and Diversified Energy Company (a US energy company, yes I pay the withholding tax on the dividend but again you get quite a bit for your money). Everything else in there is an investment trust, so like the funds you have but these tend to pay out more often from what I can see.
I'm about £30 short of where I'd like to be for my £1500 end of year target, doesn't look like June will be a good month to make that up. I try to balance my holdings in terms of payout months but realistically, Feb/May/Aug/Nov are my bigger months and Mar/Jun/Sep/Dec are my smaller months. Jan/Apr/Jul/Oct is more on the smaller side as well so I'm trying to buy into these ones a bit more if nothing else.
It sounds like you're making such good progress - £280 is amazing!
