    Man I am so glad I found your channel! I have one of these coming in in the morning and was kinda worried about the rear window, but you have given me a lot more confidence!

      I appreciate it! The back window on these honestly arent bad at all. I enjoy tinting these new Camerys personally. Thanks for watching

      I would but often times the customer sits there and watches me and I don't want them freaked out by the camera lol plus some places are really poorly lit and have music going so I wouldn't be able to use the audio. I normally do take my gopro just in case though.

    I used to do this and always struggled one day I tried it unrolling it from the top. For me it works great just stick it half way down and unroll. The Film wil just lay itself down.

    • @fastlanecarcarellc3608
      @fastlanecarcarellc3608  Před rokem

      So you mean you reverse roll it from top to bottom instead of side to side? I've heard of people doing that but never tried it.

  • @jayj205
    @jayj205 Před 10 měsíci +1

    I'm confused. Is it normal practice to tint the outside of the window and not the inside? Won't the tint get damaged from rocks. car washes, etc? What about window decals some ppl may put on their windows.

    • @fastlanecarcarellc3608
      @fastlanecarcarellc3608  Před 10 měsíci

      Window Tint is cut and heat shrank on the outside to conform it to the shape of the glass, and then the "release liner" is peeled exposing its adhesive and stuck to the inside of the glass once it's prepped and ready. Window tint does not like to bend so if you tried to do everything on the inside you would get all kinds of creases, not to mention there would be no way to cut the bottom because the deck lid is almost touching the glass.
      Great question though!

      @fastlanecarcarellc3608 Thank you for the clarification. I figured this might be the case, but many videos show the same technique but fail to show the transfer to the inside of the window. Thanks again.

    Where can I get film from?
    I did my 07 camry years back and got film from Amazon.
    I got a newer camry and try to get 3M film and only distributors have it, ridiculous!!
    I need a good film that can get from someone that is not a distributor.
    I tried eBay and received and empty tube. He refunded the money but so hard to get good film.
