thanks for this useful video! Nice images!
Thank you. I certainly was impressed with how the footage looked when I was editing!
I just bought the 35mm 1.8 full frame lens for my Sony a6600 - ima be using it for music video work & photos. Did I make a bad choice on choosing full frame 35mm f1.8? But I still like how my shots are coming out, and I also use a gimbal with the 35mm full frame?
I loved mine! And if you ever decided to step into a full frame camera you already have a killer lens.
Great test👍🏼 thanks
You’re welcome! Hope it helped.
@@thedvsmonkey Any little tip will help. I just bought the Sony a6600 and a beginner.
That's a hell of a sharp blur!
Crazy, huh?! I think it's actually too much blur!
@@thedvsmonkey Do you know any less-blur lenses? Maybe some cheaper ones?
@@monomamori Any lens can be blurred less by selecting a different aperture. The 16-50 f/3.5-5.6 kit lens only cost me $88 used and works just fine.
Nice one...
Thank you!
Do you have a full frame camera? If not, I think the Sigma 30mm would be a better fit.
At the time I shot this video I did have the Sony a7iii but I wanted to see how a full frame lens looked on an aps-c body. Currently I have the Sigma trio for my a6600s . . . 16mm, 30mm, and 56mm and I love them all!
@@thedvsmonkey yeah I’ve been thinking bout wanting to go full frame and getting the 35mm just to use on my a6300 in the meantime. But it’s hard to ignore the sigma trio that’s for sure.
@@dericsanchez4081 The 35mm was on my a7iii most of the time over any of my other lenses.
@@thedvsmonkey yeah the versatility can’t be beat.
I was about to say. This has to be a gimbal
Yeah, you can even tell when I'm taking a step since I refuse to duck walk.
Use gimbal ????
Yes, I had this on the Zhiyun Crane M2. I just forgot to tag it.
You could just get an ND filter :) and keep 180 rule
Certainly, but, that wasn't the point of this video.
@@thedvsmonkey your video is good BTW feels natural and pleasant to watch and it seems this lens is just awesome for generally filming (not vlogging for that 10-18 F4 is a king :)
@@The22Century Thanks! The 10-18 f/4 is definitely my choice for vlogging on the a6600. If only Sony had made the lens on the ZV1 wider! But, we do what we can to meet the challenges of our gear.
@@thedvsmonkey don’t be lazy man throw a filter on that lens
@@liceafilms It wasn't a matter of being lazy . . . I was testing it in that specific way. That being said, yeah, I can be lazy about putting on ND filters.
