The more I watch scenes with Cassie the more I see where people get that she is Borderline. I've only seen bits and pieces of pure but she seems very different in that series.

How? What are you talking about. Chris chose not to tell Jal. Cassie doesn’t owe anybody anything. Your boundary violating issues are showing.

@@panzerf4ust both jal and chris wanted cassie to keep their secrets, even though she knew they should've been talking it out. there is quite literally nothing she could've done besides respecting their wishes. jal and chris' relationship SHOULD NOT be cassie's responsibility in the first place.
I loved Cassie but sometimes she got a little annoying, idk if that's just me? Especially when she danced around the main issue simply to keep up her "spacey dream girl" aesthetic.
Pretentious Child when she's scared of something her coping mechanism is to try and deter others from seeing her distress (think showing Sid how she hides not eating by distracting people). That's how I saw it anyway. This scene was a bit long though definitely did get on my nerves a bit
It's interesting you thought of it as "spacey dream girl" and not "mind under extreme duress surviving through unhealthy coping mechanisms" She didn't want to talk about it. It was someone elses secret.
The fact that it annoyed you is testament to how well the character was portrayed by hannah.
Part-Time Party Time I found Cassie by the end to be the most selfish character and I’m only referring to Original skins not Skins pure and fire can’t remember the other lol
But I just found the things she did to be really cruel towards the people who cared about her and I really don’t see any good reason for her to have acted the way she did. And please don’t give me a speech on how she was depressed or had mental Issues
She was clearly Functioning enough to do a lot of things including leaving to America on a whim.
So yeah by the end I just hoped Sid would end up meeting a girl who would actually treat him right and I hoped Cas ended up on the streets on NY 😂

In the end I love the show and all the characters if I didn’t their actions like hers wouldn’t affect me so much lol
@@CynicalPOV I can't remember the series that well to give you a proper response. What I do remember is that she found a little happiness by leaving her past behind. The way she did it was bad but she did not owe Sid nothing because he was an idiot.

Fucking hated Cassie in this scene
I love Cassie but this scene showed how selfish she can be. Only focused on her own trauma and suffering, not showing an ounce of sympathy for someone else going through it

cassie isn't selfish. she kept chris and jal's secrets when she didn't have to, she shouldered their issues instead of them just talking stuff out. cassie showed care for both jal and chris, she cheered jal up by getting her the golden coin, and she took care of chris when he had his medical issues. cassie has every right to be upset by them not talking things out, even though she felt like keeping secrets was hurtful and not necessary at all.
Jal was never very bright in this scene

To be fair Cassie was not exactly supporting her.. I don’t think she was hurting her intentionally but we all know Cassie has her problems too and I think maybe this was her reaction to coping with it
