Ya they killed of everyone who truly loved someone else, and could've been happy together. Chris and Jal and the pregnancy. Freddie and Effie. Rich and Grace. It's like no matter what you can't avoid pain even when you're with the person you love.

As much as i didn't really vibe with the third generation Rich and Grace were my favourite of all the couples. They never had any major drama. No one ever fucked someone else. It was pure and cute and lovely like how the beginning of most relationships are. I feel like they kind of had to kill Grace to preserve the innocence. Ngl i would've loved for Matty or Liv to die but i get why they killed Grace.

I can somewhat understand why this series gets mixed reviews but I loved it... It felt like a return to form for me while Generation 2 really just continued drama from the first generation... Skins was about generally sweet natured kids who get in to trouble... Not a bunch of hooligans who get in to even more... I just couldn’t find a lot of likeable qualities in the second generation... Especially Effy...

Such a pure, beautiful love story. No cheating, no serious fuckups. Such a perfect match- Rich is an introverted, hot-tempered, realist while BABY GRACIE was just beautiful and pure and basically the Skins unicorn. They changed for the good after meeting each other, Grace began taking less shit from others and Rich became a mature, more open-hearted human. She literally made him so strong that even after her death he didn't break down and shatter completely, rather he learned to move on, as shown by their last kiss. They had so little time, but in that time they made some unforgettable memories, dancing in the Napalm Death Concert (with Grace in full ballet gear💖), that cutesy kiss post fashion-show, enacting "Twelfth Night', the gorgeous proposal and the 'Not Wedding' wedding. The were like the mom and dad of the gang. And their story was full of Romeo Juliet parallels and true to that tale-"These violent delights have violent ends/And in their triumph die, like fire and powder." A love so beautiful and pure, petty issues like infidelity or misunderstandings couldn't end it, only the ultimate enemy, death could. In this case: Grace's.
R.I.P Grace Violet, and thank god that Skins dared to step out of its realm of wild teenagers to give us a simple love story that was brilliant in simplicity. #Hardlet
PS: Ed Sheeran's Nancy Mulligan song seems to have been written for this pair, isn't it? That is a happier ending of Hardlet, especially the chorus. 💖💖

so what we’ve learnt from all of the generations is that SKINS DON’T LIKE HAPPY ENDINGS. Rip Chris, Freddie and Gracie. you probably could’ve stayed alive if you hadn’t have fallen in love.

The impact of that car hitting the ground was BRUTAL. Getting hit by a bus is, no doubt, life threatening but holy shit. I would have thought nobody could have survived that, despite their strength. Grace's death certainly upset me the most, even though they were all violent deaths. Nobody could just peacefully die in their sleep (excluding Sid's dad).
Grace was definitely the sweetest character ever.

I don't get why people thinks Grace's death was so useless.
Skins is life alike, and life is unfair. Sometimes it happens that you have to live with guilt, and lack, and rage because of one of your friend's death, and it was something never explored in the show, except a very little bit with Sid, his dad's death and all the shitty consequences on his relationships. But Chris's and Freddie's one were just a plot twist thing, without a real developement, just a quick conclusion to both of the first generations. I don't criticise it, I love the entire story of the show (even Chris was one of my favorite charaters of all times, and even I'm unable to watch Freddie's death ever again), but Grace's death as a screenwriting proposal was the most interessing of the three of them.

I absolutely love the scene when rich acts like Romeo and calls grace juliet . That whole scene makes me smile so much
Their love was second to none... they just were perfect, despite the love triangle of Cook, Freddie & Effy, the wild world of Naomi & Emily, Sid & Cassie's crazy relationship, and so many more... despite them all. It was Grace & Rich's love that made their love melt and forge into steel compared to all the others.
When Rich got that call from Grace, it was for me the saddest moment of all skins... Rich lost the one thing that made him feel whole in this world... he wasn't ready... wasn't ready to face the evil that the world has... and it just destroyed him. But what saved him was his undying love for Grace... because even though buildings burn and people die, REAL LOVE IS FOREVER. And it was love that saved Rich, the love from Grace... when Mr. Blood said there was nobody inside Grace's body... he was right, because she left to save all her loved ones and guided them through the chaos of their life's. and she left to say goodbye, goodbye to the one person that felt whole, the one person who 'loved her more than anything else ever', the one person who became the light to his darkness, Rich Hardbeck. And their love, is everlasting because although he'll never be with her literally again, she still lives inside his heart and will continue to live throughout the love of Rich, FOREVER.

Generation 1 was a solid between funny and dark. Generation 2 was just... dark inside and out lol. Generation 3 was more light hearted and actually reminded more of Generation 1. Generation 2 I loved but was my least favorite for how fucked up it was lol like no one in that generation could get a break once

Oh God, the proposal truly is one of the most beautiful scenes I've ever watched. Alexander Arnold is such a good actor. His smile and teary eyes really moved me and with the music, it was just perfect
One of my favorite scenes is when the music store owner is genuinely kind to Grace because she's a sweet person. Idk just think it's sweet that he didn't judge her
