I keep returning to your videos over and over again, not only for the great food, but because you and your family of friends are full of such joy. It lifts my spirits! Much love!
Hallo Refika and all team members, I just came back from Turkey last week, I visit your shop and did some shopping during my visit. Also it was really nice to walk around the neighbourhood. Sure I will be back when I visit again.
@@refikabirgul9244 thank you Refika, you are so kind! I will try to do it next time. Let’s see if we have luck to catch. 😉😊🌻 love the kitchen linen and spatula….. 🤩
Looks delicious. I was going to have ground beef today but didn't know what I was going to do with it now I do I'm definitely making this today thank you love you recipes 😋
Such a great use of left over rice that isn’t egg fried, Chinese style. I make your delicious kofta 😋 now I’ll be making these too! 😊 Your food is delicious Refika and your team is delightful ❤ Until next week, take care, much love 😘😘
HI Refika. In Poland we have some similar recipe called "Oszukane gołąbki" (Fake Stuffed Cabbage in English). This recipe also has meat, onion, spicies and rice, but we add chopped cabbage to meatballs, and baked or cooked in tomato sauce (often with sour cream). It's very delicious, I think you should try this :)
that sound tasty too. We love our cabbage as well, we have "lahana sarması". if you are familiar with stuffed grapge leaves this would be stuffed cabbage leaves and it's much easier to cook
I just love all your recipes, they all look so tasty. My mom and are hoping to visit Turkey in the near future it’s just so full of culture, history, and delicious food.
Such a fun introduction😄 These meatballs look like my dream food. Deliciously seasoned, savoury, crunchy, and handheld! My Refika knife is on my counter waiting to chop fresh herbs. I can’t wait to make this recipe❣️ I love Saturday Refika mornings. Love to you all.
I watched a couple of the köfte recipes.. I figured with there being so many versions I couldn’t screw it up! Gave me confidence to cook some awesome little slider/meatballs. Thank you!!
Thank you for yet another great recipe, well really two recipes! I will have to make this sometime for one of the picnics I have in summer with my nieces. And I think it would be great to share at my church's monthly lunch after the service. I made dolma for it before and everyone loved them, and a couple of other things you have introduced me to. Thank you too for always reminding me to try to minimise waste by considering using the cooking water from the rice! I have to admit I've always poured it down the sink in the past, though I use my rice cooker more often these days. You know, even on days I dont follow one of your recipes I do still benefit from your lessons in how to use some herbs and spices in ways I wasn't used to or in methods of preparing the ingredients. Sending love to you and to everyone in your team ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
refika the rice water can be used as an oral rehydration solution...just add some lime/lemon juice(ie potassium) and some salt (sodium)...rice water was used during the famines in 1943/44 in india,,,,lastly it can be used for making rice paper to wrap spring rolls ! it tastes great with some butter added ...a gruel soup
Yes, in India, rice water is often had as a meal replacement much like barley water when one is ill or unable to eat much. Love all your recipes. God bless you all xx
I love my boxwood spatulas! I don’t think a day has gone by without me using them since i got them. My other wooden/bamboo spoons are now only used when my boxwood ones are already in use.
This will be my first air fry recipe! Love everything you do! I did all three broad beans recipes yesterday. Please can you do some more Cypriot recipes for us. Like molehiya x
May God continue to bless you and your family and all who help you to bring this lovely cuisine to the world so healthy. Hope l can get your book soon.
Refikaaaaaaa I love you !!! Thank you soooooo much! Çok çok çok tesekurlar for the wonderful delicious Turkish recipes you are sharing with us!!! I have a question: I don't like dill can I skip this by adding more parsley? Actually 2 questions...is all spice the equivalent of "Raz el handout"?
I love watching Chinese cooking, Azerbaijani cooking, Indian cooking, Mexican cooking, and now I've seen the best..... you're the best presenter Refika, im going to make your lentil bread and these meatballs soon. I cook gluten free. I love your energy and your warmth. Love the way we get to meet your crew. Best wishes
This recipe looks nice, will try it out soon as we have often leftover rice. By the way I watched this clip while having some cheese/tomato with mixed dried herbs Gozleme that I made for my wife and me. We had just come from town, feeling hungry and I rolled them out in no time.💖💫☘
Can't wait to assemble this marvelous Kofte! May I compliment your haircut, you look so pretty on camera in this episode. Wonderful organization of all aspects of cuisine assembly and preparation. Loved the instructions on making a meat substitute version, Thank you for your pleasant personality and extraordinary knowledge of tasty food.
A suggestion: it's great to see videos on how to make the food that foreigners may know. Like köfte, hummus etc. But I think it would also be great if you could do a regular Home Cooking slot. People know about kebab. And kebab. And meze etc but what about recipes a Turkish mom would make. You could use seasonal vegetables. For example Kapuska in the winter, or Patates Yemeği with Kıyma. Then in the spring, how about Bezelye Yemeği... Then Taze Fasulye Etc etc. Everyone is looking for ways to up their vegetable intake. Also kuru fasulye. The list is endless. Simple but delicious.
Hello, we usually make traditional recipes from Turkish cuisine but I am taking this to my notes in order to plan our next videos accordingly... Thank you for watching us and your kind words! 🥰😍
Hi there! Im from pakistan and I request you to please make turkish delight with full details as I have tried it from CZcams but the result isn't as good as store bought
The boiled rice water if you use unpolished rice, we call that "am" in our part of the Philippines. We use that as a milk substitute for babies who are lactose intolerant or for thise whose mothers cannot produce enough milk.
Thanks for sharing, l'm happy learning different types of your meatballs😃, they look so yummy and flavorful😋😋. I'll surely make this also👌for my family. Be blessed as😇 always you and your crew family 🙏🏿. ✌️❤️And 😘🤗
Thank you for this great recipe. I put up earlier I was going to make it today and I did delicious everybody needs to make this. Want to take a picture but everybody ate it up before I had a chance I was lucky to get two of them😊
Hi Refika, Both those köfte look delicious. Howlong would you cook the Baharbudu in the air fryer for? (you only mentioned the temperature) Merci for your response. Big hugs from France 🥰
Do you have "Impossible Meat" in grocery stores? I think Bahar would love it. It is SO similar to the ground meat you use and would be a great alternative you could really have fun with in these kinds of recipes. Hi Refikam. I have to avoid red meat because of a heart issue. Would these work with turkey or chicken mince? As they are dryer when cooked is there anything I could add that would keep the meatballs moist? Love your channel.

*The Rice water is good for our hair* - it makes it soft and removes some frizz.

Nice. I don't eat mushrooms or eggs, so I would replace them with eggplant and chickpea flour.
Tell me how it turns out if you try ♥️
