- After having to do a factory reset on 2 of my engine's decoders I needed to find out why that was happening Weel my NCE EB1 kept on trying to reset after a short and that caused bad information to the decoders.. So they fix for this issue is to setup the NCE EB1 to use a reset button. So now all my EB1's have a reset button and I have to hit the button to reset the track power. Any questions or suggestions let me know.
Hi Thomas i believe you were showing us on the live stream Wednesday night and now you showed in use ... nice video 👌 😎 Darrell
Darrel, Thanks yes they are all working well,
Nice job Thomas. I would have never thought to do this. Good idea
Dave, thank you me ether, but after having to do 3 factory resets on my engines I thought it was time to figure out why. Found two possibilities 1. My NCE EB1 were automatically trying to reset after a short 2. have 4 Reverse Loop conditions on my layout Well I fixed number 1 and now working on number 2 waiting on a part to test with.
That’s Very cool 😎 Thomas fantastic share great work 👍🏻🔔🚂😎 TSM
Mike Thank you found this when trying to figure out why my DCC decoders needed to be factory reset
Great insight on issues that I may run across as well. Great tips as well I run NCE system too. The helix is that from trackside scenic Joe
@@tracksidemike YEs my helix cparts all came from Trackside Scenery Joey. iLike that it is light weight and sturdy
Pretty cool setup, good protection against shorts.
