162 Layout Update How to setup Manual Reset on NCE EB1

  • After having to do a factory reset on 2 of my engine's decoders I needed to find out why that was happening Weel my NCE EB1 kept on trying to reset after a short and that caused bad information to the decoders.. So they fix for this issue is to setup the NCE EB1 to use a reset button. So now all my EB1's have a reset button and I have to hit the button to reset the track power. Any questions or suggestions let me know.

      Dave, thank you me ether, but after having to do 3 factory resets on my engines I thought it was time to figure out why. Found two possibilities 1. My NCE EB1 were automatically trying to reset after a short 2. have 4 Reverse Loop conditions on my layout Well I fixed number 1 and now working on number 2 waiting on a part to test with.

    Thomas great video, when I am ready , please help me set up my EB1 breakers , I don’t need JMRI correct , where did you get your push buttons

      James thank you for watching, No problem let me know when you are ready to set them up The Push Buttons are NCE 5240301 Red Push button
      I purchased mine from TrainWorld But any dealer that carries NCE parts should have them
