i've been experimenting with these weapons, and it turns out that they're remarkably similar weapons, since the quickiebomb launcher has the spamability of a grenade launcher (since you can detonate bombs way faster) and and new grenade launcher has the stickiness of a stickybomb launcher (you can even explosive jump with it!) Iron Bomber is great for Demoknight, because it can fulfil purposes that previously you would only use stickybombs for (it's perfect for sentry nests and cap points!). The Quickiebomb launcher's spamability and range make it a natural fit for the BASE Jumper. These weapons seem pretty simple, but they gain more depth with use. I love 'em.
Yeah I really like both the new Demo weapons, IB is a great complimentary item to the Scottish Resistance and the Quickiebomb is great for the Base jumper since it is better as a full frontal combat weapon than stock sticky, and the reduced damage makes jumping with it less damaging to you. Panic attack has some good ideas but needs some tweaking.
nerdyvids1 Does the Quickybomb reduce self damage? I've not noticed that myself. I think it'd be best if the Panic Attack were to be split into two different shotguns, one for the loading mechanic, and one for the firerate/spread.
Honestly, he said he deleted it because he was sick of the attention. If he didnt want attention, he should have sold it. he knew that deleting it would get a TON of attention, and thats what he wanted.

Jerma you should have used the best new weapon in the game the Panic Attack. Trust me it's not a gimmicky, arkward piece of garbage that only exists because Valve ran out of ideas for new shotguns. I'm telling the truth I mean would a fan lie to you because it's funny to watch someone get angry at shitty weapons and fail repeatadly with them? No they wouldn't. Never ever. Not once. So just trust me.

no in reality they're garbaje except for the quickie launcher which is op. the normal grenade launcher and shotgun are direct upgrades from the new ones right now.
Use panic attack on Engi and it's not. Every other class, and it's not so good. Iron bomber is ok. More of a side-grade. Quickiebomb would be hell for me personally, but they significantly nerfed air-launching so it's fine.
Jerma, with the iron bomber you can try hitting the enemy directly, or you can use the grenades as you would regular stickies: to lock areas and stop the enemy from retreating.

like usual the weapons simply need to get used to. as if everyone was 100% accurate with the default weapons at start, or even now. just depends on the situation, might do a stream with the weapons.....
Dear Jema: If a Spy is on your team, undisguised, then it cannot be an enemy Spy. This is because whenever a friendly Spy disguises as an enemy Spy it will always display as a disguised Spy.

I've found the new grenade launcher is best used in situations that call for lobbing grenades over something, or killing enemies that are in cover. Like if there are snipers on the battlements above you or enemies behind a low wall, you can kill them easily by lobbing grenades over the obstacle since you have better control over where your shots go after they land.
I think we should get a new flamethrower and the powerjack should get a slightly higher speed buff, please do hate me in the replies. Feedback would be nice.
I agree with the Powerjack speed buff, but a new Flame Thrower might be pushing it a bit. Granted, the Pyro Update was rather shit... Pyro got ONE new weapon and that's it.
***** The damage penalty makes it fairly useless. But it does let you jump a bit higher then the Detonator if I'm not mistaken. So if you are sure you can get the damage you need to get done with just your Flamethrower or Melee, you can roll Scorch Shot.

I feel as if the two weapons are switched, your stickybombs feel more like a primary weapon like the grenade launcher, but the ironbomber seems for more situations where you need to use like a sticky bomb launcher (not counting sticky traps) but it's a bit more complex
My brother surmised that the new grenade launcher was made for blast jumping with your pipebombs. Basically a much safer choice to the loose cannon for the demoman. The two new items are made to put demomen in places so they can stickie spam with the new launcher.
I live over in Salem MA, sorta near you Jerma. It's fucking cold over here right near the water. We had our heat fuck up on that night that we had that -25 wind chill too.
Where I live in Sweden regular day routines continue despite trashing wind, massive snowfall and between -20 to -25 degrees Celsius ( -4 to -13 degrees Fahrenheit. )
As always, great video. It's nice to see an actual normal TF2 gameplay for once instead of the random messing-around videos. I prefer the fucking around with no aim or purpose videos but I think a balance of the two is really great. Kind of a random question here, but what do you use to record your TF2 videos? My videos come out kind of laggy and choppy, but I'm starting to think it might be the capture software since my games usually go pretty smoothly. Just interested to see what you use or what you do to get a better idea of what I should do.

I tend to use the quickie launcher with the base jumper. It adds to maneuverability and the quick makes up for it because its basically a primary. The bombing runs with it are pretty badass too...I also on the other hand tend to use the iron bomber in demo knight situations in which you can't zip around the corner and attack them (Unless you use the tide turner but i don't.) You can just spam directly on the corner. Ands it makes grenade jumping a whole lot easier.Theres a lot of cool places to go with that shield/ bomb jumping method.

The iron bomber is basically a stickybomb launcher in grenade form, and the quickiebomb launcher is basically the grenade launcher in stickybomb form.
Your videos always come out when I'm having a rough time, and they always make me feel better.
Jerma, think of the new grenade launcher as a mix between the default Grenade Launcher and a self-detonating stickybomb launcher.
Also he should use it for demo knight as a mobility item much like a sticky gun.
