How am i supposed to take care of my parrot i am new into getting it and i don't know how to make it happy or be friendly with međ„ș
â@@prakashtako8501what parrot is it? A budgie/parakeet?
I never owned a bird but I am fascinated with watching these! Bravo!
I did but they both died âŠ
birds are AMAZING!! theyâre so incredibly smart. whenever i go up to by birds cage, she comes up to the cage door and waits for me to open it lol. i also have been teaching her to high five and to wave. if you ever do decide to get a bird though, you should DEFINITELY do tons and tons or research before, especially because they are very delicate and you may have some things in your house that could harm birds!
@@potatoscoop Birds can be very smart. I got to hold a cockatiel and 2 conures yesterday. One of them murmured "hewo" like 5 times.
U should get a bird! They make great pets! :)
@@hannahzaffos470 I sadly have a cat. He's friendly with other animals but I don't want to be with birds if my cat is near. My friend actually has a budgie named Dougie. He is like perfect for my friend.

Magic word is MILLET! It was so easy to train (bribe) my budgies to do whatever I wanted them to do. Nowayday they go out themselves when I open the cage and they always go back inside their cage to eat/drink/take a nap or so. Only in case I suddenly need to leave my house and can't have them unsupervised roaming around I'll lure them back in the cage with the same millet.
(edited the spelling mistakes)
Man, these birds are really smart! Today, for the first time, my female budgie finally decided to perch on my finger. I held a small treat for her in my palm, and made it so she chouldn't reach it unless she hopped on my finger. First, she was scared of my finger and backed off. Then, slowly but surely, she inched closer and closer. Then, she saw the treat and tried extending her neck to get to it but was unsuccesful. She ran to the left of my finger and was trying to find a path to get to it. Then, she decided to finally hop on my finger. It was so cute!
I used to struggle so much getting my bird out of his cage, I wish this video was uploaded months earlier
I need a video thatâs âhow to get your birds in their cageâ đ mine are so spoiled and have my whole room to fly around they canât be bothered with a cage
I have to catch them to put them inside the cage đ they love being out of their cage .
Keep food inside cage and nowhere else :) At some point they will learn that they have to get inside cage to eat/survive. But I am at the exact same point as you. My room is their room and the cage is just a dining place :D
I've left a video in the pinned comment that explains how to do that.
Good luck!
Thank you for always helping me and other people with your helpful videosđ
Just continue! đ
Keep up the good work đ„°

Your bird is so cute
Yes please đâ€
This helps alot! my birds never come outside that much only when they are on my finger i can take them outside
Thank you for this. Hoping these ideas will work. My conure loves being out of his cage, but I have to pry him out of the cage to get him out (which doesn't seem good for our relationship and can be extremely frustrating). Once he's out, he's happy and content and will play. It's like when I was a kid and didn't want to go somewhere, but had a great time anyway đ
U always help me take care of my two birdsđđ„°
Birds love their reflection. Very cute đ
Love your videos man then been helping me so much!!

I used millet:) she came out in only 3 days! Sheâs on my head rn:)
Thank you this helped so much and my bird is such an introvert sheâs never comes out but with these tricks sheâs flying all over the place đ
Bravo!
Nice
My budgie got out of his cage this morning for the first time, untamed, I let him fly for a bit, when he landed, I presented him with a stick, he hopped on, and I took him through the house, and back into his cage, if you keep your cool, go slowly, not chasing, your bird will trust you đ
I never thought of using a mirror to encourage my Casper to leave his cage. I will give it a try.
Wow đ€© what did you just n What is your videos are just too nice
my budgies are such introvertsâ€â€
Thank you
Im planing to get 2 budgies soon this moth or next your vids really help! also question is head wigs army a good place to get American budgies?
Man, this has been a thing for me for the past couple years. I have 2 birds. I leave the cage door open all day, but they just choose to rest in their cage, especially in the evening which I guess is normal, considering that my birds are about 7-8 years old and have became each otherâs mates. The only time they ever give a peek perching on the cage door is when Iâm right next to their cage, like their waiting for me or something. Well, I guess I donât really see them in the morning, so perhaps they are roaming around during that time. Thanks for covering this!
My bird's are 5 months
My birds are 8 months
Me who has a untamed cockatiel: hm does this only work for budgies-
Great Video!!
How is Billie now?
Good video I thought Ernie from sesame Street was narrating it
A little while back when I got my little budgie, she had already been trained to go back into the cage but not hand at all.
nice video ! i have 2 budjies . i have them for 1 year but i think they arent tamed enough. they get out of the cage only with treats and when they are out , they dont mind being near to me and they dont seem scared. they go in the cage alone, when they want. but sometimes they dont get out even if i give them a lot of treats. i believe that sometimes they want want to get out , but they dont know how. i will try to place a perch at the opening. Also lately , i have noticed that when i prepare the treats , they are singing and they want to eat , but when i open the door , they ignore me and they sleep ! do you know maybe what i can do for that ? also i wnat to ask another question: usually, I close the curtains from the balcony doors and not much light enters the house. maybe that's why they are sleeping when I open the door. and if I have the curtains open so that there is light, is there a chance that they won't see the glass and want to go outside and get hit ?

my bird loves coming out of her cage, but i do have to get a play stand so that when her flight feathers grow back (she came with her wings clipped and she is molting right now so iâm so excited for her to finally be able to fly) she will have a fun place to land and play on
do you know what it means when my parrot has started groom itself lesser? before my parrot would love to groom itself every single day but now he barely grooms himself and I am getting worried, please tell me what's happened to him

i get my budgies 2 months ago, i taught them how to get out by putting food on their cage door đ now i have the problem that i cant put them back in đđđđ but i usually just do the same, putting millet at the door to go inside
Hi Salvador Budgie! iâm getting a new cage for my bird and they donât really trust me. can you make a video on how to make your bird get to its new cage?
Hi, I have a question that I really need help with. I have a beautiful budgie that I bought a couple of days ago and I do spend some time with daily and I bought for it toys and all what it needs but I'm a full time worker and can't stay with it all day and when I come back home it's night. Is 30 min enough daily?
I made a T stand before so Do you think I can make a play ground to my bird as well?
its quite easy when your birds are in a separate room my cages are in the main room where it is unsafe for them to fly and my birds are not at all trained to fly to me do getting them out of their cages and bringing them to a safe room is quite a chore since one of the cages is too big to carry. so what do you suggest.

I have a question I have a budgie And I see a lot of videos about birds getting in trim like their beaks can you explain more so I understand I donât know if itâs a good thing or a bad thing
A question... I have four budgies, which two of them started to bond. They are preening each other and such.
The thing is, since they mated, the male doesn't to want to get out of the cage as he usually did (he still flies and such, but not so usual). Is that normal?
I want to take my birds out of the cage but I can't tame them. They got out by accident once and I guess they remember being traumatized when I had to catch them.
You can still tame them, it'll take a bit more time and you'll have to be patient.
Can you give tips about your birds bumping into the windows bc theyâre trying to go outside pls? I stuck bird stickers on the sindows but they still bump into them. We have a lot of windows and I know thatâs bad but i really need some tips on that. Thanks
My pet budgie was attacked by her mate and now her wing is drooping and she is not able to fly do you guys know what i can do to help my budgie
our birds defeat their reflection at the mirror
0:22 i actually said damnnnn out loud
Can I ask where you got the cage?
Hey there Iâm just wondering if Billie doing ok I had 3 budgies that died :(
2:57 what is meant by the term "before your bird stained"?
We just simply put the cat in the cage and leave the cage door open; If cute little tweety bird does not escape, then kitty enjoys his/her dinner!
Hey! My bird cage is on my terrace and im scared to let it out because it might fly away from the house, if i move it to the terrace room its pretty dusty and how will they get oxygen when all the windows and doors are closed? I really wanna let them out but i just cant, tell me a way please
My bird is terrified of the bird playgrounds, terrified of mirrors, terrified of every toy đ©
But how can I make my budgie donât hate water (bath)? Because mine alwayes flies when I put the little bath near him, and also is scared by the sink :(
OH MY GOSH IVE HAD MY BIRDS FOR A YEAR AND THEY ARE FINE WHEN I FEED THEM INSIDE THE CAGE BUT HATE THE OUTSIDE OF THE CAGE THANKSSSSSS
Hi how is Billie doing?
The play thing of my parrot is my whole The play thing of my parrot is my whole room. đ€Ł
Hello, quick question. I bought the exact same cage, but I only have one budgie. Can a cage be too big for a budgie?
probs not

My birds act like they don't know me when i'm trying to get them out of the cage but when the are out they are perfectly fine
Sir I have two budgies one is male and one is female they are to much scared from me. How I tame them
That cage you got for your 3 budgies is good cage do u any problem that cage
I have two budgies that are still scared of me and won't let me touch them should I let them out of their cage? I have had them for two months
My dad just got me two budgies, and they are in a cage, but i am afraid that if i let it out, it will run away, so is there any tips to train them to not run away or smth ? I need help with this, so plzz ?
My bird is very stubborn and none of those things work what could I do
Can u do this but one to get my Quaker parrot inside?!?
I link a video on how to do this in the pinned comment
Okay thanks!
I leave the door open and my budgie goes out himself
What's the health of billy
How do you avoid them flying away forever?
Now I need to return him
To be honest i dont need these ways, i just make him sit on my finger and make him go outside đ
Awesome video! But I have a question, my birds arenât tamed so do I tame them first and then they can leave their cage or could I let them out without taming them?
U need to tame them first but if not they might go flying all arnd. I think I'm not that big of a bird expert as I hv only had and have 2 budgies
You should give them the possibility to fly free even if they are not tamed. They are not ment to stay in cages all the time.
@@Max-fk8sc oh okay thank you max!
@@trishnadora5680 itâs alr but thank you!
No you need to tame them first
Hi! Just a random question.. how can we separate our budgies to tame them without chasing or grabbing them?
I'm gonna get 2 budgies soon, and I really want to be their best friend possible.
Thanks for this vid btw! đ
Realistically what you could do is spend time with them together, back when I had budgies we bought them from a pet store and they were bonded pretty tightly so we fed them by hand every day until they trusted us enough to let us pick them up. Or you could always buy two Birds from two different stores and tame them in separate rooms before introducing them
@@RoosterChan Thank u so much! I'll 100% try it out :)
Did u get them now?
@@Nxrvy not yet sadly :((
my birds have been never been out is it safe won't they fly away i have buddgies
If you mean outside, bring them outside but inside their cages and if you mean in house, please get them out and let them breathe for a second
my budgie wont eat fruits and veggies is there anything i can do ive even tried eating that fruit or veggie in front of him
My budgie shakes it's tail up and down all the time.
In one of ur video you said that shaking of the tail is the sigh of a sick budgie. He is not even sick!
Please reply sirđđ
hows bellie doing is he great a want to now
Is Billie fully recovered from her stroke
Sometimes I either use the selfie camera or play a video of other budgies on YT, Also I sometimes really seduce them. When they want to get in the cage, I just open for them the door n they just get in.
My budgie is addicted to its cage
Hello how's billy now ?
When i open my birds in the room they always go to fan top and dont fly and after 1-2 hours comes back thats why i cant open them tell me what to do
can i still do this when my bird is not a handfeed?
Quick question: when is the right time to let them outside the cage?
If you're planning to tame your bird, then you can get it outside after it's tamed.
If you're not planning to tame your bird and you rather leave it as it is, then you can gradually start letting your bird out already.
@@Bird-Nuggets alright. thank you!â€đ
My birds are really hard to get out of the cage. If they finally come out, they always stick near the cage not even trying to explore the cage. They are pretty interested and excited to hop on my hand when I put it in their cage. But when they're out of the cage, they seem to be scared of my hand. What should I do?
