This was such a treat to see! I was the project leader on this one, and I was really happy with how it turned out, particularly given the fact that all our projects have a 1-month turnaround. When you’re coming up with a new theme every month eventually you start going to some... interesting... places, heh. Personally, I like the community grab-bag episode format, where you get a nice mix of mapper styles, but it’s not stretched out to 32-level megawad length. Love your channel and was very excited to get a lil feature after years of watching :)

Btw, I would have made the elevator much faster had we been using a more advanced port, but vanilla limitations prevented this.
It's not very often there's a mod on this channel that I've already played! This is a very well-done series of maps that have super creative design and texture work. I'm glad you mentioned at the end that this is one of the Doomer Board Projects. That series has been fantastic, and this was the first one I played after seeing it get a honorable mention in one of the Cacowards. It introduced me to this DBP's procject lead, Big Ol' Billy, who has become one of my favorite mappers. In addition to this DBP, I also recommend DBP26: The City of Damned Children, which uses Doom 64 textures and is inspired by the cult French film La cité des enfants perdus. It was my favorite release of last year, and has an atmosphere unlike anything else I've seen in Doom. I also really enjoyed DBP32: Tomatomania, which is a smorgasbord of elements from DBPs 18-31, mashed together in a surprisingly cohesive fashion. I still need to play through the 2 latest ones released, but they look really cool. One is in black-and-white with some touches of red, and the other has some really bright greens going on.

So two years after Abort, the damage caused by the excessive butt poking and the Yukkuri plushies has caused the Cyberdemon tremendous discomfort and pain, which is probably how we got here to Mr. Icarus going up the exit only ramp of the Cyberdemon's backside to do some damage control
Very entertaining Doom MOD! By the way there is a teleporter at that flesh elevator so you dont have to wait on that thing to come down. Those caco towers are an interesting challenge and no I dont think you can kill them.

This was absolutely flat out amazing to watch in action, much more hear about, and I love this kind of detailed, well polished insanity that can give such a wild ride. I feel like it needs a good weapon mod to draw out the flavor much like sugar mixed with strawberries enhances their sweetness before adding them to a delicious confection. The Spaghetti mod would be funny and weird enough to work nicely, but perhaps with the influx of enemies later on, the Russian Overkill mod might prove better. A soviet-demon-colonoscopy. I downloaded what I thought was Heretical Doom but it does NOT look like the one you played...it has a weird aim sight that I hate and the level pack you suggested (momento mori 2 I believe), didn’t work :/ any ideas how to find what you used so I can play the same one you played?
