With a big rainstorm forecasted on the weekend of August 10th, I specifically picked out Monday to go out hunting. This was because the rain was forecasted to end Sunday evening which meant that Monday was overcast, wet, and cool. So, I head out solo in hopes to notch my bear tag on my first ever bear. It was a slow foggy morning but things quickly changed when the fog began to lift...

There's a couple questions that I have been asked and I think it may be easier to just address it here instead of answering them one by one.

Man what a hunt. He did look a lot bigger way down there, he's still a really nice bear. Great coat. Chasing a wounded bear takes more guts than most would have. Can't wait for more.

Wow Samong you made that look easy! I know for a fact self filming takes a lot of preparation and multitasking and experience to pull off, especially during a successful hunt! Coordinating everything at once by yourself takes incredible skill and critical thinking. Loved your video and it was a glorious day to be in the wilderness. That morning fog and damp ground helped you be stealthy too! Those conditions are magical and anything can just emerge out of the cover at any moment. Thanks! Yeah, I felt pretty guilty with having to put another shot in him, but I'm just glad I was able to do so instead of having him run off and not ever finding him.

Gave glory to GOD? Let's see you face that bear - both of you with only what God gave you! A beautiful bear? So beautiful that you had to kill it? And you didn't even kill it with the first shot, you putz! No, you let it suffer for a couple of hours. You know, I get the "thrill" of hunting - out in the woods tracking an animal and then proving your prowess by shooting it and taking a picture with the corpse. Here's a thought: shoot it with a paintball gun and take a video. You'll have done everything to show your skill, and this magnificent animal continues to live. I fully support the right to arm bears!

My advice is if you like his content go back and watch his older videos. There great to watch and great content. He is humble and has no problems admitting his mistakes, and ethical as all can be. Would have no problem hunting side by side with him. Also look up his other family member named Daniel Moua I believe. Him and his wife hunt together. Great content over there also.

Yeah, I felt pretty bad when I saw that he was still alive. Just glad that I was able to follow up with a second shot to put him out. It's never how I want it to happen, but I'm just human and I'm not perfect. Just gotta embrace it and learn from it.
That area is where my family hunts. My late Grandfather had property near Collville. MANY memories there.
