Kong and I head out to the area where we both hunted last year in hopes to come out with different results. It's a slow day with little to no activity and signs, but we continue to trek through the mountains nonetheless. As we continue our journey, we eventually run into more and more elk sign in which is what any elk hunter wants to see. After utilizing the signs to form our next game plan, a slow day quickly changes into an elk hunters dream.

Awesome video! I just spent 4 days hunting eastern WA but was in spike bull only units. First year elk hunting and I called in 6 elk! 3 of them 6x6 but never could find a spike. Your Videos gets my as hyped as doing it in person keep it up! Not to critique but tell your cousin to watch out with that broad head 😂lol looked like he almost got you when he turned then started to run and go over logs with it still nocked. One slip could be real bad!

Awesome calling! You had him fired up. You did what you set out to do and that was to be the caller. That is the most important job. Shooter won't get the chance if you can't keep the bull coming in or keep him distracted so the shooter can move to him. Both of you guys job well done! Also the reinforcements that helped with the pack out!

That's why you were there and it happened the way it was supposed to. Videoing comes second and we understand. Sometimes it is easiest to call in a bull when the rest of the herd is bedded down. The bull will know his cows are going to stay where they are and he has no problem leaving them for a bit if he doesn't have to travel very far. You did it perfectly. I couldn't keep from smiling and laughing with you two. Can't wait for more to come. We are with you.

I have never elk hunted and don’t know if I ever will but this video gave me a sense of confidence that I could at least make a go of it. I had never thought about having the shooter set forward of the caller, waiting in ambush.

Mullein in the foreground of that shot of the bear. Very useful plant. Fresh leaves are the best natural toilet paper around. Dried leaves are good for making tea that clears the lungs.

Awesome video! Great job showing the caller's perspective, a position I just l love to be in for people. Nothing makes it more rewarding that than the caller pulling in a bull and positioning him for the shot. Really cool. One suggestion I might make, not to cow call as much when the bull is responding to bugles, stick with bugling if he is responding well to them. Great job guys.
