Man I know the feeling. Ive been chasing this one bear living on my local mountain in West WA all season. Seen him on my cams and he was right where I expected him one night, but he only showed up after shooting light ended and hasnt been back since we literally walked into eachother after hours. I'LL GET HIM YET!

My buddy and I had one of those back when we were 20 or so. We were down to one can of chili while archery elk hunting and spotted a showshoe. We planned a stalk, jumped it a few times before he was finally able to stick it so we had rabbit chili that night for dinner, lol.

Archery season for any big game should extend thru out the rifle seasons & beyond like the Archery deer season here in Wisconsin... Especially Colorado which has a muzzleloader season - in the middle of archery season !!! Makes sense to have ML at the end of archery / before rifle
i'm glad you show these hunts where it's dead because it sure as heck makes me feel better about my poor elk hunting skills hahah. i love watching relatable content, keep it up.
Gotta love the Howling,,, lets you know its not a fenced in game farm out there.... But,, there's nothing like Elk in Colorado walking up & down the streets during the middle of the day. haha
That camera you're using takes great video/ pictures. I had the same thing happen to me in the Olympic peninsula this year. If I wasn't getting smelled or seen, I would have been able to put some meat in the freezer, sometimes it's just the way it goes, thankfully we have a second season. . . Keep up the good work
when you stream fishing you can use flies for bait, they work wonderful... when i got hunting, i always bring few hooks and 2spooled mono line to catch brooks

@@SamongOutdoors I am a hunter! A minimum of 400 square inches of hunter orange is required in Washington. All required hunter orange clothing must be worn above the waist. A hat only contains about 100-150 square inches of material, so you cannot wear only a hat. A vest will usually contain from 500-800 square inches of material.

For anyone using a modern firearm to hunt for pheasant, quail and partridge during an upland game bird season. When hunter orange and/or hunter pink clothing is NOT required During an upland game bird season for anyone hunting upland game birds with a muzzleloading firearm, bow and arrow, or for falconry.
