Sometimes it takes time to realise something really was good. Sometimes more was needed to build on what was first given to us. we got both @ the time after the Prequels, and the extra lore in the Clone Wars as to how Anakin was really on a slow slide, so we understood him better. And understanding Anakin better we came to appr3ciate Hayden's place as Anakin better.
Hayden is the perfect Anakin/Vader. I’m so glad that Ewan and Hayden got to work together again on Star Wars. They loved their roles and working together.
I'm just glad that Hayden is at a point where he can do both. He gets to really embody the character and own it.
They absolutely nailed it! Now I want a full Vader series showing what we don't see from Vader. The emotional trauma, relationship with the Emperor, how he fully embraced the dark side. Show him building his lightsaber. His first mission as Vader etc.

As a grown ass man, when Hayden said, in the mix of his voice and Vaders voice "Anakins gone, I am what remains" , Obi Wan saying the whole I am sorry bit, and Hayden saying "I am not your failure Obi Wan, You didnt kill Anakin Skywalker...I did"...I felt myself tearing up. I loved the prequels, the Clone Wars series, and so on, so knowing the full journey of these two...yeah they nailed it perfectly in that scene (I loved the throwback to when Ashoka did it also in Rebels)

I loved the prequels too till I rewatched them a few days ago. The dialogues seem so wrong and so so boring. Nice stories but really bad dialogues

@Birdman PB in my opinion, Vader's dialogue with Luke before taking him to the Emperor was the first sign that Anakin was really alive inside Vader. Some say the trigger was when Luke chose to sacrifice himself on Bespin, instead of joining his father, which, after so many movies, must've hurt.
18 years later and they haven't missed a beat, Hayden sounds and looks pretty much as he did in 2004

Hayden Christensen was criticized severely for his acting in the prequels. I think he did a phenomenal job creating and executing Anakin's character. Then becoming Darth Vader as well. The pairing of Hayden and Ewan was perfect, in all aspects. It's pure joy to see how all this unfolds into the big screen. Remarkable, simply Remarkable

Aside of it's Flaws I Love the Obi-Wan Kenobi Series and I feel they Did a Great Job with Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader.

They’re the same guy, there is no “Anakin and Vader” “Darth Vader” is just a name, Anakin makes all the decisions, Anakin chooses to be more evil than good, Anakin decided that he needed to slaughter children.

Hayden and Ewan did a terrific job telling a story about their encounter.
Hayden really enbraces both characters, and does them superb. You can really tell he's studied them very intensely. Im so happy for him and Ewan getting to reprise their roles. It's like they never left. Blessings to them both! I also realize this is my second comment 😊😅!
Hayden would do amazing in a darth Vader series. I kinda want to see some of the Vader comics portrayed by Hayden to really connect the emotions of Vader and how he cleanses himself of anakin, or his castle on mustafar he built to deepen his rage.
I was in 3rd grade in 2005. Begged my moms boyfriend, who was a lead singer in a metal band and super into drawing/art/video games/comics, to take me to see ROTS opening night. He did. On a Thursday we went to the local mall and both witnessed ROTS opening night. From 2005 to 2022, I just imagined what it would be like to see Hayden play Anakin/Vader again.
Despite the kenobi series flaws, it hit my inner child to see ewan and Hayden playing their respective characters again. They didn’t disappoint. Their final battle in the show was amazing.
Hayden is the CHOSEN ONE to play the CHOSEN ONE. ♡
I loved Obi-Wan Kenobi series. After this many years, the series brought back so many great memories with it. The series brought the real Starwars back again.

Although the show wasn't what I wanted and it had some glaring flaws, Ewan and Hayden did a phenomenal job throughout the entire show and their chemistry and understanding of their characters was excellent!

Obi Wan has always such perfect moves coming from nowhere, against Dark Maul, the double cut slice from ROTS and that jump crack mask are dope
I love these 2 in these Star Wars films, i don’t care what anyone thinks about their performance being bad, unlike Rey and Kylo Ren that didn’t do justice for me. These 2 actors did because they knew how to use the lightsabers in dual fights, I hope to see more of them soon, possibly a Darth Vader series this time 🙌🏼👌🏼🔥

Here’s a true story for ya . When obi-Wan Kenobi met Vader for the first time Ewan McGregor & Hayden, Christensen first fight scene in obi Wan Kenobi the look on Ewan McGregor,s face was true terror as Hayden Christensen was walking towards him . Ewan McGregor said that was the first time seeing Hayden Christensen in the full Vader costume ever & the look on his face in the whole scene was him really being terrified in real life the whole time , he went on to say that truly seeing Darth Vader walking towards you in real life is one of the scariest things he’s had ever felt in his whole entire life . He knew his dear friend was inside that suit , just like obi-Wan Kenobi,s once brother was in that suit & felt the same as obi-Wan Kenobi did at the time scared & unsure of what was going to happen .

I don’t care what anyone says the Kenobi series is what the fans wanted for decades and they delivered. I wasn’t a fan of Reva but the high inquisitors acting made up for it.

Anakin in ROTS has Obi-WAN’s haircut in AOTC.
Anakin as a Jedi Master would have had Obi-Wan’s haircut in ROTS.

My friends always ask me how Kenobi was able to cut through the helmet, but not his head? Now I can show them pictures like this thumbnail. I guess they didn’t believe me when I said how much space there was between the helmet and Vaders head.

Yes, I can confirm that it is. Those of us who have built a replica of Vader from the original trilogy (not a costume) know that Vader's mask fits the face, but the helmet has a significant separation from the head, to allow ventilation.

I'm so glad that both hayden christensen and ewan McGregor are back working together in their respective roles which is of course anakin Skywalker and obi wan kenobi it seems like yesterday that I went to see revenge of the sith I remembered that my mom and I went to Pennsylvania alongside grandma 👵 to spend a few days of vacation went to the mall and there was revenge of the sith in theaters I wanted to see it ,but didn't have the time nor money 💵 ,so we came home back to Florida and both my mom and dad took me to see revenge of the sith ,so I was more than happy and later on she got me the DVD 📀 at Publix and was even more happier.

I was so happy to see again Hayden and Ewan back. Revenge Of The Sith was such a hit. I wish we could see more of them together. The new Star Wars from Disney are so dull and empty without any proper direction as a trilogy.

This Obi-Wan show was absolutely romantic. So many complaints out there but I loved its simplicity. It had to tell a certain story. IT HAD TO! They did it in a subtle and kind way. I absolutely loved it. It still had the epic action moments one would want also. Just wow... I am so impressed. This is the Golden Age of Star Wars. NO DOUBT!!!

I really love the entire star wars universe! But the older I become, the sadder I realise it is. However what I most wish for is an alternate ending where obi wan manages to bring anakin back on the path, or vader doesn't burn down so there's more powerful fights.

ahsoka and obi wan, both cut through the helmet and got to hear a tiny bit of anakin in all the darth vader, beautiful and painful
I really would like to get an Obi-Wan / Anakin series while they are both able to do so. The de-aging they did for Hayden on Ahsoka was incredible. It gives me thoughts that they could pull it off if they so chose. I don't like that so much of Star Wars cannon is based off a cartoon that I will never watch lol. Some of that back story during the clone wars would be cool to see.

I am not a super fan like a lot of people, I only love everything about SW (especially the prequels because they were the ones which introduced me to SW). But seeing Hayden as Anakin and Darth Vader brings joy in my heart. I love him as Anakin. I don't care about quotes (everybody talks about: "I don't like sand". But I understand why he said that) or bad acting. I just want to have fun and distract while watching a good show.
The series Obi-Wan Kenobi could have been better, yeah, but I love the flashbacks and Obi with Leia. And when he talked about her parents (Padmé and Anakin) to Leia the sensations were so good, I can't describe it. I hope we get another season.

The de-ageing process/effects really wasn't done that well in Kenobi. Nowhere near as well as it could've/should've been done. The guy who did it for Luke at the end of Season 2 of the Mandalorian.. The new guy who Disney/"Kennedyfilm" hired, did a MUCH better job. This is who they should've had do the de-ageing effects to Hayden and Ewan/Anakin & Obi-Wan.

Obi wan season 2 , they don't have to meet back up in real life , because qui gons training will lead obi wan to a different plane of existence where he will have to face Vader thus keeping everyone happy about him staying in exile. I mean a short 3 episode season to see his training and maybe even some of Vader's. The end of the last episode will be the emperor telling Vader of how he and obi wan will meet again one day
Or the end of the last episode would be a time jump to the end of Return of the Jedi showing Anakin's journey to the afterlife after his death and showing how he becomes a force ghost ending guided by Obi-Wan thus reuniting them again as brothers for eternity. The first episodes would be Obi-Wan's training to preserve identity in the force by Qui-Gon and the last episode would be Anakin's training to preserve identity after his death by Obi-Wan. I would love to see this!
