It would be so beautiful to see it animated in 2D and then use modern technology to make it into 3D. Perhaps something similar to what the creators of Into the Spiderverse did.

The one praise ill give this is that these cgi lions DO have more personality and expressions than the other live action lion king movie they made.

The expressions and visuals are slightly better like that scene. Young Mufasa was on the log the expression looked way better.

The difference between Nick Gillard knowing how and when to use it in the choreography and Disney era just thinking it's a cool move with no function. As cool as it is, Anakin doing it randomly on the light bright in Ahsoka didn't make any sense :/

They tried a guy who played DV, but he had a strong Scottisch accent, that made DV hilarious. I have forgotten his name, but is was great. I nearly laughed my head of. He didn't get the part, obviously. James Earl Jones was perfect.

The problem is that I don't even know who is who in the original trailer, so 2d would have been SO much better!

Although we hope that Disney will make hand-drawn films again, it will unfortunately remain just a dream, because Disney has completely forgotten what they should be doing, i.e. the magic of hand-drawn films, which ended when they moved to 3D films, they are no longer interested in anything but money and fast production for example, it takes a lot of time to make a hand-drawn movie, like the first Lion King took four years. Then Disney doesn't put any effort into the story of the characters, they make the worst scripts and especially for the bad guys, then there's the fact that all the time there have to be movies so child-friendly that you can't even see: -A small drop of blood. -The death of the hero or enemy. -Things that make sense. -Powerful and emotional music. -Scary moments. -Fights. -Strong emotions. -Monsters. -True love. -Memorable wisdoms. -Seeing the truth. -Witty humor. -Adrenaline filled scenes. -Appropriately darkness gloomy and mysterious. -Lessons. And a lot of other things that Disney doesn't do to their movies that is completely absurd. But don't get me wrong, I really wish Disney would go back to hand drawn movies and bring back the previously mentioned things to their movies.

At least they gave mufasa more expressions in the cgi version than the other one
