I just installed this mod in the 2nd hole and it is just right for me.
The pull is easier, but I was really looking for a "wider clutch engagement".
    This is perfect.

Best mod I did for my T7!

I just put mine in yesterday but haven’t been able to test it yet. My suspension is off getting tweaked so the bike is up on a stand with no wheels or suspension

15 minutes and not a single shot of the actual lever mounted to the bar? Grr. Curious what it looks like on the bar and how it looks pulling it

      My bad :D
Not much to see up there though, as I adjusted the lever possition.
It's a much lighter pull, more and easier control in the friction zone due to a larger movement needed from it starts to engage until fully engaged. Thats both good and bad, all depending on the adjustability of the levers and how you like to control the clutch.
But for me it is perfect.
Will most likely talk about it my next riding video (hopefully this weekend)

I just installed this kit on my T7 and using the middle hole. It is definitely way easier to pull the clutch now.

Can someone tell me which position on the arm will engage the clutch the soonest ? I find with my std lever and clutch arm i have to pull the lever all the way into the bar for it to fully engage the clutch which is no good when you want to use two fingers and keep the rest wrapped around the bar crushing my fingers !
Also why wouldn’t anyone just use the furthest away setting on the arm for the easiest pull ?

That would be the hole closest to the shift shaft. So it will bite quicker with less friction zone (heavier to pull lever).
If put in the hole for the lightest pull, it will engage clutch at the same time, but it will be dragging for longer before fully engage the plates (long friction zone)

I wonder why they changed the spring on this kit. I just installed the camel one finger clutch kit on my T7 and I used the stock spring so it went inside the hole on the clutch arm.

Hehe, well we are all sure able to pull the clutch.
But boy is it a positive difference with the one finger clutch, Mitch smother etc.
I for sure have no problem lifting the bike up, never had 🤪
