While the Yamaha Tenere 700 clutch is well designed for casual riding, technical off-road riding with heavy clutch work can quickly fatigue a rider's hand and forearm, leading to a long, uncomfortable ride home. Reduce rider fatigue and increase clutch feel with the AltRider Clutch Arm Extension for the Yamaha Tenere 700.
    Works with OEM crash bars.
    Replaces OEM clutch arm.
The lever is CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and anodized grey.
Clevis clip is formed from Stainless steel.
Designed to reduce clutch pull and increase feel.
Reduces clutch pull effort by up to 34% over stock.
Reduces hand fatigue in traffic and increases feel during off-road riding.
It is designed to reduce clutch pull, which reduces hand fatigue and increases the feel of the clutch.
The Altrider Clutch Arm Extension replaces the OEM clutch arm with an adjustable clutch arm extension. The extension is CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and anodized grey, with a clevis clip formed from stainless steel. With the Altrider Clutch Arm Extension, the clutch pull can be set from stock up to a 34% reduction in pull effort, giving you options for the best clutch feel for the rider.

How about Wide Ration Transmission gears? A Lower first gear and a Taller overdrive 6th gear ???

Regardless of your transmission setup, the clutch extension will achieve the same thing. It’ll require less effort to pull the clutch and give you a larger friction zone.

Hello, does the altrider clutch lever open the clutch like the original clutch lever? does it have the same range of motion?
I just don't want to destroy the clutch or transmission...
(I already send you email with video)
    Thanks for answer

What happens to your clutch inside the engine case is exactly the same. All our extension does is lengthen the clutch lever down at the engine.
This does a few things, 1) makes the clutch pull require less effort, 2) creates a larger friction zone, and as a result of the larger friction zone, 3) it can increase clutch feel.

I would assume this clutch arm extension would work on a FZ-07 MT-07 F-7, Tracer-7 if some one wanted to use it ? I never found the clutch effort very hard on my FZ-07 .

You’re probably right that it would work. Although street riding generally isn’t’ fatiguing, technical riding can get fatiguing over time, the more the clutch is used the more it can tire your arm. One thing to keep in mind is the wider friction zone that is achieved by using our clutch extension.

@@AltRiderLLC street riding, maybe not but try city riding with tonnes of filtering and you're hardly ever off the clutch. These arms are also really beneficial to anyone suffering with carpal tunnel or other wrist issues.

I guess Camel ADV doesn’t have a patent on that.

I’m glad you brought this up! Camel ADV does offer a basic easy pull clutch for the T7, but the version that works with the Yamaha bars doesn’t offer much over OEM. See our features video for an explanation: czcams.com/video/GPCApRpa25M/video.html
