    BACKGROUND: My Guitar Cover for the track which was originally released on Pink Floyd's 1995 "PULSE" CD and/or DVD. The Division Bell tour ran from March till October 1994, culminating in two weeks of sold out shows at London's Earls Court.
    EQUIPMENT: For these videos I used a variety of instruments but for the guitar work I mostly used my 2012 Custom Shop David Gilmour Signature Fender Stratocaster. Acoustic work was done on a 112 Taylor Acoustic Guitar. Bass Guitar work was done on a 1990 Hohner "The Jack" Bass Guitar.
    The signal for EVERYTHING was played into my Line 6 HELIX Floorboard using my personally created David Gilmour Pulse patch.. A VIDEO FOR THE CREATION OF WHICH WILL BE ADDED SOON.
    The signal for everything was recorded direct via USB into recording Software REAPER onto backing tracks specially made by ME.

      @@SteveFletcherGuitar what do you mean? You have al the notes correct. Of course the talkbox makes a huge difference but without it the solo also sounds good.

    The dogs bollocks, can you please supply the delay timing settings please

    • @SteveFletcherGuitar
      @SteveFletcherGuitar  Před rokem +1

      For the majority of this track I used TWO delays. BOTH set at DOTTED 1/8th notes. The only difference is the mix. The first is 23% feedback and 18% mix (more ambient). The second is 74% feedback and 40% mix. Then just Tap Tempo-ed to the track.

      Do you palm mute when you play the Eminor melody line

      @@aaronpayne5688 yes. It's actually the same idea as Take It Back - which uses G Minor. It's basically the same riff in a different key.

    Very helpful, thanks very much for this video. I'm just curious about the clean sound you use, actually the deelay you use and the settings. If you find some time please write it for us. Greatful in advance.

      @@SteveFletcherGuitar If I got it right, you've been using two deelays (separated) on rythm parts. Am I right?

    Just noticed the fuzz solo after the Steven Hawking break is not the same on the Pulse 2019 re-edited Video version as on the Pulse 2018 CD version. This explains a lot why I wondered about your tabs in that section which did not want to fit. Do you have any clue why it is different versions? Best wishes Patrick

      @SteveFletcherGuitar  Před 11 měsíci +1

      The Pulse Video/DVD and Pulse CD are from completely different nights which is why the solos are different on several of the songs. This is the Pulse DVD version.

      Hiyam I'm sorry you've had trouble. It says in the video that the link to the TABS is in the description and it is. That takes you to my website (in English) where you can follow a set of instructions to get the tabs. Easy. Thanks for commenting.
