As an ex-locksmith, thatâs both a great waste and great re-purpose of old padlocks.

There's just something fascinating about watching hard metal melt into liquid. I can't put it down what it is. I can watch this guy do this all day long. Especially the part where he puts the hot metal on ice to cool it off. Love from India. đ

Thank you for showing yourself preheating the mold, it's a vital step that I see a lot of CZcams casters leaving out. I experienced a blowback from a cold dross tub years ago working in an aluminum smelter foundry. It's not something I like to see, and I don't want others to experience it themselves.

I was the same way when I found his channel. I was just small time scrapper when looking for street treasures, saving up copper and aluminum. Now I want to melt everything I have. Still stocking up supplies and waiting till I get a decent work space to melt.

@@pryvateryan9731 Thermal shock refers to the acceleration of heat change. Acceleration is the reason your neck snaps in a wreck. Thermal shock is the reason metal gets brittle over time and snaps.
