I did a video a few months back where I basically showed you could melt about 20 kg of copper for about $24AUD in propane. Once you have set yourself up, it’s an extremely cheap hobby and these furnaces heat efficiency is absolutely awesome. But obviously before you purchase, be sure to hit me up on my email and I’ll send through a shitload of info about starting up a heap of helpful tips and links, and I’ll make sure there’s a discount code on the devil Forge furnaces there for you as well. What happened to your dust box?
It’s all good I still have it. I just haven’t used it for awhile as I only pull the dust box out when I’m sanding cleaning and mirror shining inside. As we a few weeks into winter I can assure you you’ll see it pop up quite regularly over the next few months but I’m definitely gonna give it a bit of a spruce up that’s for sure👍🏻. The reason I haven’t used it or don’t use it outside is simply it’s nice to be out in the sun working and any dust that is lost on the ground. Will only help when I put down some cracker dust and try and semi concrete This rock area in if that makes sense
I always use a cover of charcoal when melting brass n copper it scavenges the oxygen reducing oxidation of metal especially the zink.
I would not worry about those little planes, start worrying when you see F-35's and F-18's 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
