It is truly sad that at a time when Yemen is leading by example in order to awaken the Iman of the Muslim world to help their brothers in Palestine, there are many Muslims asking their Sheikhs "Are Zaydi Shias Muslim or Rawafidh?".
I haven’t watched the videos yet but I could already tell there are many misconceptions. I am a Sunni and my wife is Zaidi and I lived in Yemen for a number of years. The only distinguishable difference that you can see is praying with hands down and saying حي على خير العمل in adhan or if they say a name of someone from Ahlulbayt they usually follow it with alayh alsalam. As for the fiqh it is similar to Hanafi fiqh and for theology it is a mix of Ashari and Mutazila theology.
Ibn Baz (RA) spoke out of ignorance and issued a fatwa about Zaidis saying you cannot pray behind them. He was later contacted by scholars who were surprised by this fatwa and was told by the scholars what they actually believe. He retracted his fatwa and issued an apology confessing he was haste and confused Zaidis for other branches of Shia when they are actually the closest to sunnah. In fact they would be considered Sunni if they didn’t believe Ali Ibn Abi Talib is better than Abu Bakr and Umar (RA).
And yes, Zaidis do love the companions and Um Al-Momineen (RA) with the exception of Muawiyah. In my wife’s family there are plenty of Omar’s and plenty of Aisha’s.
I’ve lived with Zaidis, prayed behind them, sat with Zaidi scholars and forgot occasionally that I was speaking to a different sect until they say Ali alayh alsalam or when they don’t say “amen” after surat alfati7ah

The Houthis are Kuffar. And they’re not the Yemenis. In fact the people of Yemen are in general Sunnis. But the Houthis are now in charge, that’s all. And even if the Houthis are aiding my people in Gaza (I have family there), they are still Kuffar. This has to be made clear. There’s no priority over the religion. Religion comes first. People might fall into misguidance because of Houthis doing what the supposedly Sunni leaders should’ve done.
