Salifiyah is an attribute of of Islam. I see a lot of the attributes of the salaf in the people of Filastine right now because we wondered how the sahaba could bear patience during calamity, well now we see it on video. It hurts but their reward is with Allah and the reward of whoever learned. May Allah give them victory and security in their land. Amin.

You are correct in what you have said and I agree with you. I visited Palestine in the 90s. I loved it, although I am not a Palestinian my heart is there and in Jerusalem, which will one day be the capital of the muslim ummah. My experience is that they are the best muslims and I said as much to my family and freinds on my return - the best of muslims I know of. In the time I was there I saw how they follow the way of our prophet and speak out against bidah, avoid spending money in places selling alcohol, pray on time and encourage other good practices. Their recitation of the Quran was amongst the best I have heard.
Amongst the problem with the Shia is there insistence on having someone from the prophets family as our leader and they will fight tooth and nail for it with other muslims and commit atrocities to this end, it blinds their judgment. Even if they got their way they would find a reason to overthrow their own chosen leader and continue fighting. The never ending revolution. The West understands this and has been encouraging and funding these people and using them against us for too long - just look at Yemen and Afghanistan.

My brother has watched Shaykh Jalal Abualrub’s recent content on advise regarding Gaza and I believe the Shaykh mentioned that he will be publishing a book and will be clarifying the affair of Jihad - due to the increased confusion and little of what is translated my brother has kindly requested if a section could be included detailing the fiqh of Jihad, such as permission if needed and necessary(of the ruler) concerning defensive Jihad (and to what extent is it considered defensive or so long as their under occupation), fighting alongside Ahlul Bid’ah, appointing Ameer amongst themselves to ward off the invaders, and other misconceptions around it.

It is actually quite clear - Allah SWT has said whoever rules by other than Sharia is a disbeliever. Whoever imitates the disbelievers is also a disbeliever. Whoever makes allies with enemies of islam/muslims is also a disbeliever.

Again Sheikh, with all due respect, Shamsi didn't say that that the Palestinians are mushrikeen. Just because Shirk may be present "everywhere" in a country, it does not neccesitate that all the people are musrikeen -- take my country of Pakistan for example; you will find all manner of shirk in every place, but the awām are generally not the type to say "Ya fuhlān maddād"
These instances of shirk are usually pockets of extreme barelvis littered around Pakistan everywhere.
He said that there is shirk present there like in all of our muslim countries. People have taken that clip out of context from a 1-2 hour discussion.

What brother Shamsi said in that 28 second video clip (actual video is 26 min and 39 sec) is as follows:
"1. In Palastine, there is a shirk. Shirk everywhere in Palastine.
2. I didn't say all commit shirk. But shirk is there, open shirk. There are a lot Muslims who do shirk. They worship graves openly. There is a graves habeebi. There is a Qabar Khaleel Ibraheem. But, not all of them."
After posting this clip, Bro Hajji himself admits he is trying hard to understand what Shamsi meant as what he said is not clear because Shamsi's English is not up to the standard level. But then, bro hajji conveniently decides to only take the sentence where Shamsi said "Shirk everywhere in Palastine" and then slander him and then proceeds to slander and insult scholars. I then stopped hearing as those are hajji's usual business. It is well known that Shamsi is week in English language and most of those who are against him teases him in regards to that. But, we will have to agree that Shamsi still does good dawa in English community. A lot of people embraced Islam through his dawa.
In the same full video ((Should Shamsi F*ght Him? Shamsi Speaker's corner)), Shamsi says today we are week because we don't follow religion. Shirk in Algeria is open, in Pakistan it is open, in Afghanistan it is open, Shirk is every where. Solution for us is to go back to Quran and Sunnah and avoid shirk. When he said Muslims are week today due to being away from Quran and Sunnah, he even included himself into that saying WE don't follow religion. In the later clarification video, he also said we get calamity either as a test or as a punishment for our sins which he used to say even from before.
From these statements, what we can understand is that he did not mean shirk is there in each and every city of these countries. Rather, even in these countries where there are Muslim majority, there are places where shirk is open like worshiping graves openly which is a calamity. It should be understood that he said even about Palastine in this context. Especially he said all of them do not commit shirk. But some commit. Also, it should be noted that he was not talking about some individuals commiting shirk in their home. Rather he was talking about open shirk which take place publicly and openly. Also, he did dua for Palestinians in the same video. He also did dua agaist the enemies in the same video.
When this video was taken out of context, Shamsi released a video ((Did Shamsi Call Palestinians Pagans? (Mushrikoon)) and clarified his stance. He said people claiming me calling Palestinians Mushrik is a big slander against me. I never called Palestinians Mushrikoon.If I say there is Shirk in Palestine, it doesnt mean everyone in Palestine is Mushrik. If I say there is shirk in Algeria, it doesnt mean everyone in Algeria is Mushrik. What he meant is very clear. Maximum what we can say is that he should have been more careful in framing the sentences so that he do not give his enemies chance to take his words out of context and misrepresent him.
We all can come to the following agreements:
1) The above speech of Shamsi is not crystal clear. What he meant is not clear as both statements contradict each other. Hence, it is not possible to come to wrong conclusion and blame the brother especially when his enemies themselves admit that he have language barrier.
2) In that case, it is not upon us to comeup with bad assumptions, rather the one who said the statements should be asked what did he mean by that. Especially as Shamsi is very vocal in support of Palestinians and against zionists even before and after the incident. Also even in the same video if you watch the full video.
3) Conveniently taking only one sentence from the clip and ignoring all the other sentences in the same video clip which is opposing that one sentence and then coming to wrong conclusion and thinking bad about the brother is blame worthy. But if one thinks good about the brother, give him excuse and doesn't believe what is propogated against the brother as there are many contradictory statements to what is propogated in the same speach, then it is praise worthy and Islam commanded us to take such stance and have حسن الظن.
4) If we see the full video, what he meant can be understood. Moreover, he clarified what he meant in a seperate video. He explicitely told he doesn't believe all Palestinians are Mushrik. Actually speaking, if we hear that small clip itself carefully, what he meant can be understood. But many people conveniently avoid everything what he said in that clip and decide to take only one sentence.
5) Hence, those who claim Shamsi said all Palestinians are Mushrik is oppresing the brother knowingly or unknowingly.
Am not part of SPUBS. But here, people are oppressing Shamsi unjustly falling for propoganda against him especially by bro hajji and team.
And it is very strange and shows the evil intention that, in the same full video, Shamsi also said there is open shirk in Algeria, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Shirk everywhere. But, this was not made an issue as those who came with the clip knows what can be sensationalized. They know with what they can trigger the emotions and thus utilize it the way they want. They were just fooling the common Muslims and many fell for the trap.

He should have retracted and apologised...but unfortunately those guys do not do that easily as i have witnessed for over a decade. May Allah guide us & them.
