I never understood why this is probably the least appreciated song from Let Go, even by Avril's listeners... It tells a solid story from beginning to end, the lyrics are real and thoughtful and the melody is very addictive, every part of this song expresses her resentement and her inner sadness towards the guy she' singing about.
It always amazed me she (co)wrote THAT just for a crush met during summer time.
Especially when she was a teenager she wasn't afraid to show her different shades of emotions just describing what she saw, what she lived in her heart... that was her anything but ordinary magic to me, I miss this so much.
Too Much to ask and Unwanted will always be my favourite ones from this wonderful album!
they are good songs and i too like them but they are songs that require a specific kind of mood and that's why not everyone can feel connected directly

En éste tiempo yo atravesaba por una depresión muy fuerte y su música era lo único que me hacía sentir con esperanza y mas fuerte. No encajaba con la gente de mi edad y me sentía muy sola hasta que hice amistad con un grupo de niños donde vivo y tuvimos muchas vivencias y escuchando ésta música de Avril. Demasiada nostalgia porque fueron los momentos que a pesar de mi tristeza por ciertas cosas, por otra parte fue de las mas felices de mi vida.
