My sister got me into Avril and I became a big fan years ago, she's 29 now (born in 1992), people now don't know how big Avril was back then, she was the queen in the Early 2000's an icon!

This song is really a small masterpiece of old Avril. One of the most undervalued and unfortunately unknown tracks. I had forgotten this wonderful song. Let go is really her best album, an indelible symbol of the 2000s, which went away too soon.
Let Go is, I believe, a very overlooked album. It is one of my all time favorites and I think it's very powerful and emotional.

When I was 13 I listened to this album so much I broke the cd. Yes, it's possible. Haha.
I'd listen to this song amoung others like 'naked' on this album and dream. Dream of having a family, husband, living in a big house, everything. Family. The one thing I wanted more Than anything. I'd listen to this album when I'd go apple picking with my mother. Every october. I'd stare out the window hoping I'd find "him" one day. I'd listen to this in my cd player and just dream
Fast forward and I am 29 now.
Its october. Another year of playing this album. listening to this next to my husband, family and now have all I ever dreamed of.

I was born on 2001, 27th sept to be exact, i was a kid when this song came out, i listened to this when i was 7 or 8 and the other songs in the album let go, i had a crush on avril before i knew anything about love, did not even knew the meaning of crush, just remember that feeling and that was it, now i'm 18 and i cherish i got to live that era, the beautiful 2000s when life used to be straight and simple not many fake people around, wish i could go back then not to change anything just to relive those wonderful moments and feel it once again, glad she reuploaded it.
Thanks Avril for everything you do, your songs give me hope to do something in life, u are my idol.

She were even then 100x better and talented + legit than any female Pop/Indie/punk singers today or past 15 years or songs... she really has perfect tone ear at least in my ears. I wouldn't change a tone which is rare. Perfect pitch. Music is ok many of her songs but without her music tone ear vocals it would never be perfect like her tones are. She and Alanis Morrisette is 2 pitch perfect voice/tone 1990s-2000s present to this day!
